by oldedude on March 19, 2025 3:28 pm I'm conflicted. My conflict is that I have no issues with the LGBTQ+ community. I don't really care what your lifestyle is. More of a laze faire attitude. Where I think most of the 80% draw a line is "special rights." I'm one of those. The special rights that have been asked for in the trans community most importantly is not telling parents what is going on in the schools. That's a deal breaker for parents. After decades of trying to get parents involved. The biggest part of this movement, like I have said several times, is NOT the trans population per se. What is the problem are the number of groomers people are afraid to report of violations of the district rules (like an adult being in a closed room with a child) or not reporting the problems with the groomers. I really believe that if the trans community would drop that, and the schools would be open with what they teach, this hurricane would drop at least to a tropical storm, maybe less. I've mentioned the unintended consequences of this many, many times. Only to be attacked by the left. Again, if you want to have anything left of your program, you need someone to negotiate so that parents get the rights that are in the laws. You haven't won a court case yet. That should tell you something. I understand that everywhere there are the rich, the monarchs, etcetcetc... Many countries have a caste system or something like it. So I'm recognizing that. The whole GAG organization came about because Jaimee Michell, who's a self-described dyke, wanted to live in a community of lesbians who simply want to be lesbians and be left alone... not from homophobes but from TQs. My heart goes out to LGBs. I can understand the rapid growth of the anti-TQ LGB groups and activists who are becoming increasingly influential.
