People are firebombing, shooting, or just harassing folks in Tesla's. Sometimes with people in them (people driving to work, moms with kids, etc.). Everyone knows the fumes from burning batteries is hazardous to your health and the environment. Burning them could cause major injury to EMS personnel (medics, cops, firefighters). We'll see in a few years if some of these folks come down with the same debilitating diseases as those from the Gulf War. All because some jackass wanted to make a political point.
This is what I was talking about earlier. There are no consequences in liberal "minds." Nothing to say "someone might get hurt," or I might get arrested, and even if I do they'll let me out in a couple of hours just like pedojoe did.
*terrorism, the calculated use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective.
US Attorney General Pam Bondi said Thursday that three defendants accused of vandalism targeting Elon Musk's Tesla electric vehicle company could face up to 20 years in prison. Bondi said the damage to Tesla cars, dealerships and charging stations amounted to domestic terrorism.
Arrests and charges against the three suspects were previously announced by prosecutors. Tesla dealerships across the country have been targeted in a wave of protests, but also vandalism and arson attacks, in response to Musk's influence over the Trump administration. On the same day, a couple of Cybertrucks caught fire at a dealership in Kansas City, Missouri. Police are investigating a potential arson attack. At least five Tesla vehicles in Las Vegas were damaged early Tuesday in a "targeted attack" with two vehicles fully engulfed in flames and others shot at with guns, authorities said.
In January a Salem man reportedly threw Molotov cocktails at Tesla vehicles, causing a fire impacting one vehicle, police said. More than a dozen shots were fired at a Tesla dealership in Tigard, Oregon, the second such incident at that location in one week, causing damage to cars and store windows, police said. At least seven shots were fired at a Tigard, Oregon, Tesla dealership, police said, which caused damage to three cars and the store’s windows. Windows at a Salem, Oregon, Tesla dealership were damaged by a man firing bullets from an AR-style rifle—the second incident connected to the Salem man, who faces a federal weapons charge, and who police say previously vandalized the dealership in January.
A man unintentionally set his clothes on fire🤣 while also setting fire to three Tesla charging stations with Molotov cocktails in a North Charleston, South Carolina parking lot, while wearing a shirt that said “F— Trump, long live Ukraine,” multiple local outlets reported. Police said seven Tesla charging stations in Littleton, Massachusetts, sustained heavy damage in fires that appeared to be intentionally set.
42-year-old Colorado resident Lucy Grace Nelson was confronted by police and charged with malicious destruction of property for numerous alleged instances of vandalism at a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado, with police finding a “container of gasoline plus a box of bottles and wick material” in her car. Nelson allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail aimed at a Cybertruck on display at the Loveland Tesla dealership, causing a fire, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
