Ohio became the latest state to establish a right to abortion in its Constitution. Gov. Andy Beshear fended off Daniel Cameron in deep-red Kentucky.

As of the latest reporting, in the Virginia state legislature contests, Democrats are upsetting Glenn Younkin's plan to turn the legislature Republican. One house was already Republican. Younkin had hoped to sign a more restrictive abortion law. The current results are as follows.
State Senate: 17 Dem., 12 Rep.
House of Delegates: 38 Dem., 31 Rep.

I wonder why this is a "thing."

This is what OUR constitution was built to do. The sheeple get all twiterpated over local elections, but not over the national board. I understand that to a point. But ONE governor in a state that has 8 electoral college votes. That's almost the same as CO (6). And nobody gives a sht. And that's IF they actually vote for pedojoe... which is doubtful because pedojoe put many of their people out of work and just said "fukyou" to the state. So people are voting for the socialist to help them out for a bit while the "president" finishes shitting in front of the Pope along with them.

Virginia Democrats swept to victory in the state’s hard-fought legislative election on Tuesday night, keeping control of the state Senate and flipping the House of Delegates. The results are a major blow to Gov. Glenn Younkin, who campaigned hard for a Republican “trifecta” in Richmond.

In the absence of a major Republican victory in Tuesday’s election, Youngkin’s case for the presidency — or for national office generally — is a far harder one to make.
