Fox has been reporting this since before Christmas. No doubt, Rachel and the HuffPo have missed it, bahahahahahahahahahaha.

Yesterday, the flatulent fool, the Master of the Mandate, changed course to say the there's no federal solution to COVID.

Republicans seized on President Biden’s Monday comment that there is “no federal solution” to the COVID-19 pandemic to demand an end to government mandates while labeling him a “hypocrite” and “incompetent.”

Biden, who famously vowed to “shut down the virus” during the 2020 presidential campaign, and has dun his derndest to foist mandates on America, made the apparent admission during a virtual meeting with the nation’s governors about the pandemic response.

“Look, there is no federal solution,” the president said. “This gets solved at a state level.”

The implication is that this has been the governor's fault along.

This the same "feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" who campaigned promising to "follow the [effin] science" and to "shut down the virus."

What a loooooooooser!

Don't blame me. I voted for Trump!

I hope you Swampcult Blue MAGAs think that voting for the former 18 wheeler driver was worth it, for this two year disaster.

Because the GOPs are a lock to have a huuuuuuuuuge House majority and, most likely, a majority in the Senate.

I don't think it was a matter of "admitting" that. He tried to solve it at the federal level, but there were governors who refused to cooperate.

That's not what he said. "“Look, there is no federal solution,” the president said. “This gets solved at a state level.”"

Gov. Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas reached across the symbolic aisle on Monday to thank President Joe Biden for his efforts to "depoliticize" the country's COVID-19 response amid the raging Omicron variant.

The Republican leader made the comments during a conference call held by the Biden administration with the governors of several states to discuss the national response to the worrisome Omicron variant, which has sparked a spike in cases across the country in recent days and prompted testing shortages and delays.

"I want to thank all of the White House team for being such great support to the governors," Hutchinson said during his opening remarks, The Hill reported. "And I want to thank Mr. President — your address to the nation last week. Thank you for your comments designed to depoliticize our COVID response. I think that was helpful."

Biden's correct that there's no federal solution. There could have been, though, if all the governors had cooperated.

Trump touted "Operation Warp Speed". The thinking was that pharmaceutical companies would quickly develop a Covid vaccine. What most people didn't figure was that once the vaccines were developed that a large segment of the population would be slow to be vaccinated.

I heard Asa Hutchinson this morning on MSNBC. He's the head of the US governors' association. He said mandates don't work in state like Arkansas, but education does work. I commented to my wife that obviously education doesn't work in Arkansas. Only half of Arkansans are vaccinated. They are with a handful of other red states in being vaccine resistant. Unsurprisingly, they are near the top of the list of Covid death rate per capita.

Who knows how effective educating the populace might have been. The flatulent fool couldn't wait to put on his Hitler mask and red state governors and legislatures had to expend energy and resources in defense of the liberty of their citizens.

A tragic lost opportunity, entirely the fault of "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap."

    HtS,
You must be talking about remedial education. There was and is plenty of education and information on the subject. Anybody who didn't learn about the dangers of Covid and that masks, social distancing and later vaccines were effective mitigation strategies is braindead.

What you have that people who think independently and critically lack is, first, no memory and, second, blind faith in Big Brother. The sainted Dr Fauci has changed his messaging more frequently than the White House fool flatulates.
