I agree fully.
That's one of the things trumpster is trying to do, so give it 5 years before it goes through congress. We've had decades of lobbyists (in essence) bribing politicians to keep that in our food. Just a few of the side effects are; cancers, juvenile obesity, dementia, Parkinson's, fetal organ growth, etc. The foods that my parents grew up with are more like what you and europe have. To get "organic" is a crapshoot at best here. But it's a better chance it's closer to the canadian version of food.
Hormones in the milk, beef, chicken, eggs, lamb. Horrible insecticides in (especially) root veggies, apples, etc. Just a heads up to most of the folks here. In doing chemical testing for chemical agents, insecticides show as nerve agents. That should be a hint.
