The decision by MSNBC to leave one of its most recognizable programs on the sidelines amid a seismic politics-driven news cycle, with the Republican National Convention getting underway in the wake of the Saturday shooting at Trump’s campaign rally, is certain to raise eyebrows.

"only" a "minority" of citizens are affiliated with a party. According to PEW Research, About two-thirds of registered voters identify as a partisan, and they are roughly evenly split between those who say they are Republicans (32% of voters) and those who say they are Democrats (33%). Roughly a third instead say they are independents or something else (35%), with most of these voters leaning toward one of the parties. So. I'm going with actual facts that 2/3 of the people in the US actually care what happens. First, I stand behind the firing of the Rep Thompson worker and anyone else saying the same thing. This is exactly my point before. Major cities weren't burned by employees and staff members. They were burned and supported by common people that believe in the same principals. Terrorist organizations have traditionally been run by dis-satisfied common folks. So Morning joe, is representative of a group of citizens. They give a viewpoint that ~1/3 of the people agree with (it could be better to say 1/2, but I'm figuring that 1/3 don't support it either way). We don't have 1/3 of people in the US working for the government. The other issue is that ~1/3 of the people that learn about it, feel quite the opposite. They feel that someone tried to murder someone they support. From a group that hates them. Again. You can make all the justifications, excuses, reasons, or lies about this. I just doesn't matter.
