She did fine. She did great in fact. She waded through his gotcha questions quite well and got to the real heart of the situation.

She's gonna make a fine president.

Harris did fine in a contentious interview. She made some points about former Trump staffers et cetera who now say Trump is unfit. She mentioned Trump wanting to arrest "enemies within". That's all probably news to FOX viewers.

I don't much care now for Baier's asking if Harris wants to "apologize" to the mother of a girl killed by an immigrant. There always are a few bad apples in any large population whether they were born in the US or abroad. There are some 11,000,000 undocumented immigrants in the US. Conservatives keep bringing up three females who were killed by immigrants. With that tiny percent, immigrants must largely be very fine, law abiding people. In fact, immigrants commit crimes at lower rate than native-born Americans.

There is good number of the people who Trump pardoned for various crimes who have since committed new crimes. Just reported today, a Medicare fraudster ($1.3 billion Medicare fraud scheme) named Philip Esformes was charged with assaulting two people since Trump pardoned him.

FOX News didn't ask Trump to apologize to those assault victims.

    po, Curt,

You both thought she did fine in previous interviews. And, her lead in the polls has plummeted. And, she's, since then, fallen waaaaaaaaaay behind in the betting markets.

Imo, she was, as Rush'd say, "A b-i-itch." She was Donald Trump with a uterus. She was belligerent and obnoxious. She was, precisely, Trump. She was despicable. Worse, she was EFFINHillary.

People don't like that, and many won't vote for it.

I don't think the interview will help her with moderate and independent common sense voters... who vote on feelings.

From what I can tell, the Dems think she nailed it. GOPs are appalled.

    None of that matters.

That gay Guy Curt never heard of just retweeted this:

"Baier: "When did you first notice that Joe Biden's mental faculties were diminished?"

Kamala: "I have watched him from the Oval Office to the Situation Room. And he has the judgement and the experience to do what he has done."

    WORD SALAD!

    Yeah, she "did fine." Baha

I HatetheSwamp and, d@ng, do I ever want four years of that inanity coming from the Oval Office!

Many more people will hear and see reports about the interview than who actually watched the interview. This is especially true since the interview aired at 3pm on the west coast.

The FOX interview takes away a Trump talking point about Harris not doing interview. Here is a sampling of the headlines about the interview. In these headlines and reports, Harris comes across as tough. I an sure the Harris campaign is pleased with the news coverage.

    In-credible. As in unbelievable?

You know. I support Kammy. I support Kammy.

But, she came across, even to me, as defensive and evasive. What worries me is that that's what will seep into the consciousness of moderate and independent common sense voters.

Did you notice, she tried the Mike Pence debate, I'm speaking gambit. This time it was, LET ME FINISH, LET ME FINISH...

Give the betting markets 48 hours. Give the polls a week.

Imo, we have the two worst presidential candidates in my lifetime by a looooooooong shot. It's not even close. God help us.

She couldn't answer a fucking question. She evaded and has no future thinking answers. This is the first time she even went to an interview that wasn't something set up with known questions and answers.

The softball shit she's been thrown didn't do anything but shore up the things we know about her. She'll disrespect the Constitution as her administration has done for the last almost 12+ years. Her cuck is even worse. Their handlers are in revolt against each other, and it doesn't sound like her cuck doesn't like what she's doing. Maybe he wants more "transparency?" because she's lying her ass off to the American voters. And it's not working. The only people that believe in her are the sheep. And they know she's lying to everyone but can't admit anything until she goes back to being the little bitch (with a cuck) of the Chinese who want to form the US to "their" expectations.

She hammered Brett Whatshisface in the one short clip I saw. Put him in his place and he did not like it.

As I said above, the news media is lauding Harris for being tough. Here's a good one:

(USA Today)Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris went into America’s Den of Misinformation – Fox News – for a Wednesday night interview that demonstrated two things:

    1. She has far more guts than her opponent, Donald Trump.
    2. Fox News remains an arm of the Republican Party.

For starters, Harris deserves credit for doing an interview she and her campaign had to know would be a string of “gotcha” questions and attempts to get her to say mean things about Trump supporters, a la Hillary Clinton’s infamous-but-accurate “basket of deplorables.”

Trump, by comparison, has cancelled a planned CNBC interview and refused to follow Harris’ lead and go on “60 Minutes,” preferring to do things like his Wednesday’s Fox News town hall where he was asked coddling questions before a room full of Trump supporters.

  12. by Donna on October 16, 2024 10:26 pm

Speaking of cucks, the biggest cuck of all, Donald Trump, would never do an interview on MSNBC because, well, he's a cuck, a coward, which I think started with his bone spurs. The cuck was even too scared to go on 60 Minutes. Trump is a textbook delicate man who'd be hawking phony Rolexes on 5th Avenue if he didn't have a rich dad.

Kamala Harris, in contrast, is a self-made successful woman, whose entire career has been in public service.

    Donna,

It was after the "women being raped by their in-laws and brothers and sisters" debate that po apologized to ole pb for saying Joe doesn't have dementia.

    So, Donna...

To quote Bret Baier, "When did you first notice that President Biden's mental faculties appeared diminished?"

  15. by Ponderer on October 17, 2024 7:17 am

"Imo, she was, as Rush'd say, "A b-i-itch." She was Donald Trump with a uterus. She was belligerent and obnoxious. She was, precisely, Trump. She was despicable. Worse, she was EFFINHillary." -Hate

"But, she came across, even to me, as defensive and evasive." -Hate

"Imo, we have the two worst presidential candidates in my lifetime by a looooooooong shot." -Hate

Bill, it's perfectly understandable that you would have come away from her speech thinking such things. Any smart and intelligent woman, or woman of color who speaks her mind and is assertive about it will always be perceived and described in such negative terms by a racist, misogynist MAGA Hat like you. Yours were quite expected responses. You did not disappoint.

Kamala and Hillary are two of The Most qualified and experienced candidates to run for the presidency in my lifetime. But to the likes of you, such women of intelligence and accomplishment must both be portrayed as flailing idiots. Your misogyny demands that they be. Add in that Kamala isn't white, and you are forced to say that she must have fuckedher way to where she has gotten.

"To quote Bret Baier, "When did you first notice that President Biden's mental faculties appeared diminished?"" -Hate

Oh I get it now. Only Republicans and their Fox whores are allowed to ask, "Do you still beat your wife?" gotcha questions. I see. Anyone else who asks questions even vaguely perceived to be like that does not deserve any kind of answer. Only Republicans deserve answers to such questions. I see. You are a boundlessly shameless hypocrite, Bill. I get it.

"She couldn't answer a fucking question. She evaded and has no future thinking answers." -olde dude

What I liked is how she answered all the questions, whether he wanted to hear the answer she was giving or not. She handled Brett's bullshit gotcha questions deftly and expertly.

"She'll disrespect the Constitution as her administration has [blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah ...]" -olde dude

I also like how olde dude fell off his rocker trying to say as many idiotically bad things about her and the Biden administration as he could pull out of his bloviating, bullshitting, MAGA Hat ass. 👍

"For starters, Harris deserves credit for doing an interview she and her campaign had to know would be a string of “gotcha” questions and attempts to get her to say mean things about Trump supporters, a la Hillary Clinton’s infamous-but-accurate 'basket of deplorables.'

    -Curt

And there it is all neatly tied up in a nutshell. Perfectly said, Curt. Which of those two sounds like the person with any courage?

Plus, Trump even managed tofuck that interview up and look like afucking moron...

First he says that he is "The Father of IVF"... and then he goes on to tell how he had just acquired his entire understanding of the subject in a two-minute phone call. Two minutes of explanation and he's the "Father" of the thing. What afucking mendacious douche bag.

  16. by HatetheSwamp on October 17, 2024 8:13 am

"Bill, it's perfectly understandable that you would have come away from her speech thinking such things."

Speech? Are we talking about the same thing? I watched an interview.

"Any smart and intelligent woman, or woman of color who speaks her mind and is assertive about it will always be perceived and described in such negative terms by a racist..."

Lie? You know that I'd walk over hot coals on my hands to vote for Kammy. It'd do you some good to accept the fact that Kammy's a flawed candidate.

[blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah ...]"

My point exactly. What Kammy did was reach out to the po, Donna, isle, Indy, Curt lot, not moderate and independent common sense voters... nor swayable voters. I HatetheSwamp!

  17. by Ponderer on October 17, 2024 8:37 am

"You know that I'd walk over hot coals on my hands to vote for Kammy." -Hate

I know that hot coals wouldn't stop you from voting for Trump is what I and everyone else here knows.

    You're such afucking liar, Bill.

  18. by oldedude on October 17, 2024 8:59 am
po- What question did she actually answer? Please cite.

  19. by Ponderer on October 17, 2024 9:03 am

She answered all of the questions, od. You just didn't like her answers. That's certainly not her fault.

  20. by HatetheSwamp on October 17, 2024 9:13 am

    po,

She spoke after each question was raised. She hardly answered a single question.

Is your brain so addled by deranged TrumpHate that you honestly don't know that!!!!

  21. by Ponderer on October 17, 2024 9:20 am

    I'll give you one, though.

When she was asked when she realized that Biden was not fully up to the job, she could have simply said something like, "I never came to that realization. He is still up to the job of being president, as is evidenced by that fact that he's still doing a fine job at it.

But a meaningless gotcha question designed to get her to throw Biden under the bus does not deserve any better response than she gave.

  22. by Ponderer on October 17, 2024 9:26 am

Every one of the questions that he asked her were like the questions that you refuse to answer when I ask them of you, Bill. Except that my questions are far simpler and weren't even "gotcha" questions.

The questions that Brett asked her were designed to elicit answers that would look bad for her however she answered them. So, she didn't take the bait. She was under no obligation to. She answered quite effectively though without giving them what they wanted. Sorry.

  23. by HatetheSwamp on October 17, 2024 9:30 am

"When she was asked when she realized that Biden was not fully up to the job..."

You're so full of it. Baier didn't ask that.

You need to back off on the unabashed preferences and prejudices that you bring with you to every moment of your life.

    You've exited reality.

  24. by Ponderer on October 17, 2024 9:39 am

Did you see any quotation marks that I put around that statement? No. You didn't. Because I was not quoting the question verbatim. I didn't have it memorized forfucksake.

But it was essentially what he was asking her. You are of course free to post the exact wording of the question, and I will explain to you how what I said still totally applies to it...

  25. by Indy! on October 17, 2024 10:00 am

I'll have to watch the whole thing. It's always funny when a lefty goes on Fox and the Fox hosts still pretend like they are the smartest people in the room as they get exposed and toasted in real time.

Bret Baier Says Kamala Harris Caught Him Off Guard With Fox News Interview
During his later discussion with Hannity, Baier suggested Harris may have been seeking a confrontation.

"I think she had a mission that she wanted to do and maybe she wanted to have a viral moment, she wanted to have a pushback.

"She came to Fox News and she wanted to go after Donald Trump—[a] viral moment that plays on a lot of other channels and on social media—and I think she may have gotten that."

  27. by oldedude on October 17, 2024 6:58 pm
Considering she's only done "friendly" interviews, with staged questions and zero follow-up questions. I'd be shocked also. She did initiate contentious attitude going to pissed pretty quickly.

It was also extremely obvious she doesn't have answers to most of the questions asked. Things like pedojoe and his dementia. Or "WTF are you going to do something different with the border in the NEXT four years? WTF were you doing the past 3+ years as the border czar? You were empowered by the POTUS to go down there, see what's wrong and FIX IT (or at least present to congress a plan and get the money for it)." "Why did you not put the same EO's back in effect that you're doing now?"

The worst part of the "interview" was that she only had one answer. "It's trumpster's fault."

At the end, Bret was at a hard stop, and she kept cackling about trumpster. That's just rude.

  28. by Indy! on October 17, 2024 7:53 pm

You really expect her to answer a question about Joe's mental condition when Trump won't even give up his own medical records?

  29. by oldedude on October 17, 2024 9:35 pm
    yup.

She has the obligation to bring that up if the "president" doesn't. I understand there's a lot of politics at play with that, and the FBI said he was incapacitated in their report. At the least, that bears an investigation in fairness to the president (but is not a requirement in the 25th Amendment). My question is; "why would trained investigators and professionals in interview and interrogation mention that as a reason NOT to proceed with criminal proceedings if they were lying on the 302?" They can get fired and imprisoned for that.

And, as usual, you pick one word or sentence and harp on that. Generally, because you have nothing else.

  30. by Indy! on October 17, 2024 11:42 pm

Not going to discuss irrelevant stuff like the border and Israel, OD. You have too much free time on your hands.

  31. by HatetheSwamp on October 18, 2024 4:07 am

"During his later discussion with Hannity, Baier suggested Harris may have been seeking a confrontation."

It seems to me that that's what she had in mind. Her demeanor stunned me.

It seems to me that the one advantage Kammy has over Trump is that Trump's a belligerent @$$hole... and Kammy ain't.

The @$$hole thing matters to undecideds and moderate and independent common sense voters.

    Oy.

In my first post about the interview, I noted that Kammy came across as, as Rush'd say, a "b-i-itch." The reason that I said that is that her demeanor seems to have been a choice. She didn't have to be like that. She's not always like that.

And, it seems to me, that there was intentionality about it... and, I don't get it.

Clearly, people who are on board with her approach to the Fox interview... and who also hate Fox... are all over this. Kammy already has their vote.

I think she really, really hurt herself... but toward what end? Is this supposed to have gotten her votes?

    This was not Sister Souljah.

I'm honestly asking po, Donna, isle, Indy, Curt: Wassup with that?

  32. by Ponderer on October 18, 2024 6:41 am

Wassup with it, Bill, is that you are entirely predisposed to seeing anything that Kamala does in the worst light possible, because you are a racist misogynist with Democrat Derangement Syndrome. That's how you were able to watch her superb handling of that interview and come away thinking that she somehow did damage to her campaign. You always say she did something harmful when she didn't. It's how you are driven to react, reality be damned.

I know that you are being fed a lot of bullshit nonsense from Fox which also tries to put her in the worst possible light, so you are probably just parroting crap that they told you. As you are constantly wont to do.

So this should explain wassup for you, Bill.

    Happy to help!
