According to the New York Times, "Mr. Klain has been telling colleagues privately since the November midterm elections that after a grueling, nonstop stretch at Mr. Biden's side going back to the 2020 campaign, he is ready to move on, according to senior administration officials, and a search for a replacement has been underway."

Last week, additional classified documents were found at Joe Biden's Wilmington, Delaware home after it was revealed earlier in January that the president kept classified documents from his time as Vice President in his think tank's office at UPenn.

The UPenn documents were found in November but it was not revealed until January that they were found. A second set of classified documents were found in Joe Biden's Wilmington, Delaware garage next to his Corvette on January 12. More classified documents were found in his Delaware home on January 14.

The NYT has been beating the cover-up drum. Someone is ultimately responsible for the fact that the Biden Gang covered up the existence of swiped Top Secret Classified Documents for more than two months. The compelling truth about the Biden scandal is that CBS and NBC broke the Biden documents scandal. The Biden Gang didn't come clean until it was forced to and then trickle truthed the reality. Karine Jean-Pierre's press briefings have been filled with evasion, misstatements and lies since the White House Press Corps caught on...

...Someone had to take the fall. Klain claims to have been planning to leave anyway. So, he's the fall guy? And, will it be enough?

Doubtful.

That headline could as well read "Biden chief of staff Ron Klain to resign amid Chinese New Year festivities".

Obviously thepostmillennial despite the admonition, "correlation does not imply causation" implied that there was a causation. Not to mention, this "scandal" is apparently only seen as scandalous by Trump cultist and others who only vote for Republicans no matter how bottom the barrel the GOP candidates are.

Chiefs of staff don't stick around forever. Trump had his third chief of staff by this point in his presidency.

Not according to the NYT, CBS and NBC and, Fox and the rest of the Murdock empire.

I genuinely think that "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap's" thugs covered up the discovery of the swiped Top Secret Classified Documents and then trickle truthed it after CBS and NBC exposed it has created significant cleavage between Clouseau and even the progressive SwampMedia.

Klain has to have been key to the decision to cover up. He'd a been in trouble if he attempted to remain.

    HtS,
You are a nut. Contrary to all the facts, you still think it's some sort of crime for Biden to not have made a public confession about the found classified documents before the election. Some of the members of the fourth estate might have had their feelings hurt that Biden didn't blab sooner. The GOP was naturally unhappy about it too. Of course, they didn't whine when Trump didn't say anything for seven months about his classified documents even though NARA wanted them back.

Americans Grasp How the Trump and Biden Classified Document Cases Differ
A new Quinnipiac poll out Wednesday reports that a plurality of Americans—46 percent—think Biden should not be prosecuted, compared to 37 percent who think he should be. It’s the reverse for Trump: A plurality of 50 percent think he should be prosecuted, while 41 percent think he shouldn’t be.

Yeah. I posted that Quinnipiac poll. It has Clouseau's approval at 36 percent.

Contrary to all the facts, you still think it's some sort of crime for Biden to not have made a public confession about the found classified documents before the election.

Not at all buddy. But how closely are you watching Karine Jean-Pierre's press briefings? The whole White House Press Corps is going bonkers. It's the point the NYT made just on Friday. AFTER 68 DAYS, THE PRESS BROKE THE STORY! For the moment, Joe's lost even the progressive SwampMedia.

There's no crime in the cover-up. But, this is politics.

In the early days, Jean-Pierre's mantra was "transparency." And, the press always went bonkers.

I know Good German-ism runs deep in you but that orientation is disconnecting you from what's going on now. A large part of your progressive SwampLovers mob sees wrong in what the Flatulent Fool's gang's doing.
