Sequestration--which is severe, automatic, across-the-board cuts in defense spending over the next decade--of the nation's military budget would be a disaster for national security.
In our current fiscal environment, Congress should make tough budgetary decisions across the board - and that includes within the defense budget
I support the maintenance of a sufficient military to defend the United States against aggression. The United States should both avoid entangling alliances and abandon its attempts to act as policeman for the world.

Taxable Basic Income Grants for all, structured into the progressive income tax, that guarantee an adequate income sufficient to maintain a modest standard of living.
