Lots of issues here but, among them, my heart breaks for the suffering experienced by the killer. Obviously, that doesn't justify mass murder.

And, I'm angry over the cover-up of the fact that this murderer was trans and motivated by her trans-anguish to kill.

I hope everyone will listen to the first 10 minutes of the link. Skip the commercial.

IMO, covering up the trans part of the story does more harm than good. Politicizing the suffering of people suffering from gender dysphoria has done more harm than good.

Perhaps compassionate conversations can, now, take place.

by oldedude on April 7, 2025 8:11 am I do agree with you that the hiding of the documents is an injustice. We've talked about struggles in gender dysphoria many times, and I never doubted they exist. That's why I've always opted for people (especially those under 18) get reliable counseling prior to transitioning. There is also the issue of autism. That's a wild card with anyone. My grandson is very functional (that's a stroke of luck) and many are not.
