by Indy! on April 6, 2025 7:42 am Saw Joe for $10 with Steve Miller a couple years before he died. His singing style had changed a little - different, but still incredible. A Little Help from My Friends was like a freakin' religious experience. So incredible - way better than that video. Steve Miller was also absolutely fantastic. Much better than when I saw him on the Book of Dreams tour and he was totally wasted. He was at that point in his career where he was content and knew his catalogue inside out and played every song the crowd wanted to hear. Very happy to be on stage performing Interesting sidebar to that show - the service fee was $10 and change. It's the only concert I've seen where the service fee cost more than seeing the performance. Does Joe deserve the Hall? Who cares? It's such a sham now it's not even about rock and roll. But I think there are a lot of bands that are more deserving that are not in yet. The Aussie and Japanese bands are totally ignored for their contributions (for instance). Go To Top
