My dad's dad taught me to be an Eagles' [now spelled ELGLES, thanks to Philly's DEI mayor] fan, bouncing me on his knee when I was a tyke. Obviously, pb was watching when the crowd erupted in raucous applause, at the image of Mr Tangerine Man, during the singing of the Star Spangled Banner, during Super Bowl coverage.

Honestly, I immediately thought: Yikes!, po and Donna and Curt and Indy and isle must be gagging,... if they're watching. I freakin friggin EFFINhope all of you were!

Like it or not, for the moment, Trump is the incarnation of Lincoln's notion of "of the people, by the people and for the people."

Go ahead. Hate the people if you need to. But. He is!

AND, the crowd booed Tay Tay, too!

I heard that Trump was rooting for the Chiefs. I also heard that he left at halftime. It was embarrassing that Andy Reid - long time coach (some say the best ever... but not me) - kept his starters in even after the outcome was nothing more than a footnote. Siriani put in the scrubs so they would get what may be the one chance they'll have to play in a Super Bowl - even if it was garbage time. In the end, the classless, low rent Chrefs got what they deserved - the ass whupping of their lives on the biggest NFL stage.
