    Do you have a theory on why the string-pullers orchestrated the Doddering Old Fool initiating a debate in EFFINJune? Did they think they could juice him up well enough? Was this sabotage?

    If there is any conspiracy here, it's that the party knew he was no longer capable and wanted to get it out before it was too late to switch horses. I also still believe this covid thing might all be a ruse to give him an excuse to bow out (somewhat) gracefully.

    If the Ds were smart (and they're not) - they would hold an open convention with Kamala as the "party favorite" to get the nod. Then rig it so Gretchen Whitmer wins the nomination instead. It really is the perfect opportunity and candidate for a woman to win the presidency (imho).

    I'm in agreement here. I think the COVID is a way he can "isolate" and negotiate the end.

    This is a lot like the last days of Hitler in the bunker. His "generals" have dropped him, contacted the allies, and have given up. Except for the diehards. They're giving joe the guns and ammo. If it was Japan, they'd be giving him a Katana. Either way, I don't care.

    Kamala? They'd better if they want ANY black vote at all. They can't be stupid enough to actually do an end-around on her and screw her over. That would be the end of the dims.
