In his derangement and dementia, one of the few things that "dithering and diminished" "feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" can still say without stammering is the lie that Trump wants to impose a nationwide abortion ban. Now, the lie will be obvious.

pb's very very pro-life but this is his political position.

"Of the people, by the people and for the people," "the people and their elected representatives," baby!

The platform, which will be finalized by a vote of the full convention body next week, represents a major change for the GOP — and one that anti-abortion advocates had spent months rallying against. The new language describing abortion as an issue to be decided by the states is in line with the position held by Trump. Still, anti-abortion leaders are lauding the inclusion of language pointing to 14th Amendment protections that conservatives have long argued protects life beginning at conception.

    The Rs know their platform is just a useless piece of paper that can even be used to wipe Trump's outrageously oversized rectum for at least a couple reasons...

    1) Nobody ever checks on which party planks are being adhered to once the candidate is elected
    2) Trump doesn't care what the party wants and can't read the platform anyway
    3) And most importantly... The Supreme Whored will be doing whatever their Kock Brother masters tell them to do like the good little $2 whores they are.

    The alluded to section of the 14th covers life AND liberty. It applies to living persons, not fetuses. Importantly it applies to women and their rights regarding their own bodies of which the fetus is part.

    AMENDMENT XIV
    Section 1.
    All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

    It's amazing how the Ds never call the Rs on this part. Everytime someone says "babys" are being killed during abortions, they should be corrected by whoever is interacting with them.

    Not just fetuses, but children are not afforded complete constitutional rights. An example being curfews for minors.

    I'm antiSwamp but I continue to be a GOP precisely because the GOP is the home of openness and inclusion, acceptance, diversity, tolerance and freethinking.

    I imagine that there may be some spirited debate over this plank in the platform but, freedom, baby!

    And that position is still under debate. Otherwise, how do you explain a double-homicide for murdering a pregnant woman. That accounts for two homicides.

    Federal Law:
    The Unborn Victims of Violence Act (UVVA),
    enacted in 2004, recognizes an embryo or fetus in utero as a legal victim if they are injured or killed during the commission of certain federal crimes of violence. This law applies to over 60 listed federal offenses and defines a “child in utero” as a “member of the species Homo sapiens, at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb”


    State Laws:
    Thirty-eight states recognize the fetus or “unborn child” as a crime victim, at least for purposes of homicide or feticide. These state laws vary in their definitions and circumstances


    Exceptions:
    These laws generally do not apply to abortion, medical treatment of pregnant women, or actions taken with the consent of the pregnant woman 1.
    Remember that state laws can vary, so it’s essential to consult specific state statutes for precise details.

    How do I explain the double homicide law? It’s probably a Republican bill that was signed into law by a Republican president. Republicans do not strictly adhere to the US Constitution.

    If a pregnant woman commits a crime, she along with her fetus may be thrown into jail, that even though the fetus is completely innocent of any crime.

    As I noted above, read the first three words of the 14th amendment.

    Actually, what I have to do, is to actually cite every single thing because you three fuckfaces are too stupid to actually understand a constitution you don't know anything about. None of you have above a sixth-grade knowledge of the constitution. You're stupider than the Canadian who used to try to make sense of US Law via Canadian Law. And we're talking about the basics. Things like DUE PROCESS (which "indie" still doesn't understand) which is one of the basics in US law and is over 800 years old (goes back to England). Not so much in other cuntries you love, like the terrorist state of Palestine, Iran, Syria, China, Nicaragua, El Salvidor, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Yemen. This is so fucking basic that you (all) expect it for you, but not for others, which is horribly fucked up. I spent weeks on trying to explain it to all of you and none of you can even spell it, much less believe it exists in our laws. When you look up sheep in the dictionary, your pictures are there. That blank look on your face of stupidity says everything.

    And po. My fucking "media sources" are Columbia School of Law and others that actually know what they're talking about. You still don't have the wherewithal to actually cite from a credible source.
