I'm going to try to post a link but they usually don't work for live events. Still, there are probably a dozen ways you can watch it on YouTube.

I'll just say that the crowd looks to be a thousandth of a typical Trump rally... and, when Joe's the focus of attention.

Joe's gotta go.

The Trump Cult is definitely larger.

  2. by HatetheSwamp on July 5, 2024 1:06 pm

Lots of slurring and stammering and mispronounced words.

"I'll beat him again in 2020."

    Another, "I guess I shouldn't say it."

"Another $five billion trillion tax cut."

For the most part, I think they got the modafinil dose about right.

Here's hopin he holds on. I support Biden. I support Biden.

  3. by ROB3RT on July 5, 2024 1:10 pm

I don't really care about the rally since I'm sure he'll be using a teleprompter. He's got to do unscripted events, like interviews and town hall meetings. That's the only way to reassure people that he's nimble enough to think on his feet.

  4. by HatetheSwamp on July 5, 2024 1:21 pm

    Agreed.

    He had little to gain.

  5. by Indy! on July 5, 2024 7:01 pm

They need to wire him up so they can give him a little electric shock every time he drifts off.

  6. by HatetheSwamp on July 6, 2024 4:15 am

Did you catch Joe saying, "They're trying to get me out of the race."

Who is? Not the GOPs. The GOPs are all saying in unison "Let me start off with two words. I support Biden. I support Biden."

Joe's tussling with other Dems... and that's the problem you woke white progressives have, baha. Can y'nes move on from the "dithering and diminished" Doddering Old Fool without a bloodbath?

pedojoe reminds me of Xi Jinping and the Kim's (DPRK) (to a lesser extent). Although pedojoe is being asked to do what he said he would do and be that "bridge" candidate. Now when he's being called on his BS, he refuses and digs in supported by Dr jill, and a known felon, liar, and drug offender, and someone that can't even take care of his own family. pedojr is going to meetings with joe, potentially exposing him to classified material, which he is not cleared for. All this because he "doesn't trust" senior. If a crackhead doesn't think someone is thinking clearly, I think that's a pretty friggin' good indicator of joe not being able to make stable decisions.

After a couple of decades working his way up China’s political ladder, in 2022 the 69-year-old leader secured a widely expected (and unprecedented) third term as general secretary of the ruling Communist Party, paving the way for him to remain in power for at least five more years — and possibly longer. There have been few challenges to this position after his first term as the general secretary. China still has "presidential" "elections" under his watchful eyes. The general secretary is the highest leader in China and is responsible for the direction of the CCP. The "president" is more akin to our VP in power, whereas the general secretary runs the country without checks and balances over the internal and external politics of the nation. The general secretary is also the head of all domestic "law enforcement, security, and intelligence agencies. The general secretary is also responsible for foreign political moves, trade, and overseeing the foreign intelligence and media sources.

So in the scheme of things, up until now, the general secretaries would leave after two terms, choosing their successors and retiring. Xi Jinping gained control of the National People's Congress (NPC). This is kind of an interesting evolution. About every five years, there's a sudden change of power in the NPC and the cabinet. Some folks step down some just disappear. One guy was publicly thrown out of the inner sanctum of Xi's group. Not saying he's dead, he just hasn't been seen since. And he could be just "not invited."

Remember what I said about listening to people and they will tell you everything?

    PB:
Who is? Not the GOPs. The GOPs are all saying in unison "Let me start off with two words. I support Biden. I support Biden."

Which self-proclaimed "D" on the board keeps saying that same phrase like he gets paid a dollar every time he says it? 🤔

  9. by HatetheSwamp on July 6, 2024 11:35 am

    Indy,

pb registered as a GOP during the last SS forum. pb ain't MAGA, but he is GOP.

You're slicing that dice to thin.

You're slicing that dice to thin.

And you expect me to believe you were in publishing? Perhaps comic books, or something simpler.

It's not "to" it's "too." You want to spell check me? seriously? That's second-grade "stuff."

  12. by Indy! on July 7, 2024 12:00 pm

OD, everyone on the board knows what I do for a living. I've never made a secret of it. If you don't want to believe it because it doesn't jibe with your fairy tale imagination of me? That's fine.

  13. by oldedude on July 7, 2024 8:21 pm
Apparently not. You just made an ass out of yourself through your "ass-umption."

  14. by Indy! on July 8, 2024 11:39 am

Well again, Odie - what's happening in the drug addled "brain" of yours is not necessarily the same as the things happening here in real life. Everybody makes spelling errors on the internet (especially YOU, btw... "dims" - LOL!).

  15. by oldedude on July 8, 2024 12:33 pm
YOU chose to harass me about it because you don't/can't understand any nuance whatsoever. I already explained why I do what I do. You can't deal with it? not my problem. At. All.

  16. by Indy! on July 8, 2024 1:36 pm

You can barely spell "nuance" much less actually use it in real life.

  17. by oldedude on July 8, 2024 1:56 pm
Apparently you don't understand it, so there's that. Talk about Mx OCD. Does it scare you when you think things are out of order? Or when there's a new idea you don't have the ability to comprehend?

  18. by Indy! on July 8, 2024 2:00 pm

Nothing you can conceive in that tiny, worn out, MOAB rattled "brain" of yours could possibly scare me, Odorous.
