I've noted many times that there are times when Joe Biden reminds me of my dad during his dementia journey.

But, this is eerie.

Note that Joe's brain is so gone that music itself is incomprehensible to him. It's as if everyone around him is speaking an incomprehensible language. He's absolutely clueless.

That vacant smile, with nothing behind the eyes is one I saw in dad many times.

Here's the thing. If Curt or po bother to watch the video here, I'm certain that Curt's Holy Trinity and po's metaphorical Rachel haven't reported this but it's the sort of thing that common sense moderate and independent voters catch wind of.

Donna calls common sense moderate and independent voters "low information," but, truth?, low-information voters are better informed that the white wokesters who insulate themselves from reality by choosing "news" sources that feed the preferences and prejudices that they take with them to every moment of their lives.

This picture is worth multiple thousands of words.

When I saw, ahead of time, that the Juneteenth event was in the evening, I immediately thought we'd see some serious sundowning. I was right.

Good lord, peebs. I'll be the first to point out Joe is not all there (because he's not). But when you reeeeeeeeeeeeach on things like this? You actually hurt that argument. It's obvious everyone there is doing some sort of synchronized dance that they all know - except for Joe because he's 100 years old and doesn't know anything except square dancing. So he's just standing there watching - nothing "eerie" about it.

By now, I'm guessing that a substantial portion of the electorate has seen a parent or other relative or family friend suffer from dementia. That video advertises to everyone who knows about it that the Doddering Old Fool is deep into dementia.

Try - for once - to put aside your ingrained GOPness and watch the video again. They are all "dancing" in synchronized moves. Biden looks like he has no idea what's going on because he has no idea what's going on. Put you or me in there instead of him and we would look exactly the same.

Agreed, Indy! HtS is trying way too hard to find something with which to denigrate Biden. Had Biden made any sort dance move HtS would have undoubtedly criticized that too.

Meanwhile Trump's go-to dance move is to plant his feet and mime jerking off two guys simultaneously.
