    In the face of pandemic would you prefer that the public be kept in the dark about scientific research and advances? Or would you prefer less transparency with more time testing, retesting hypotheses, theories and discoveries?

    "What is unprecedented is not just the speed and focus with which the community responded to the pandemic but also the singular willingness of scientists all over the world to share new ideas and data immediately and transparently." --Scientific American

    Even if you prefer to be kept in the dark, scientists don't. It helps all of humanity when doctors and scientists are open and share with each other what works, what doesn't work and what they changed their minds about.

    There is no reason to think Dr. Fauci has anything other than the best interests of Americans at heart. Blaming Dr. Fauci is a case of blaming the messenger.

    Yikes, Curt!

    Can you understand that one cause of antivax-ism and vax hesitancy is that Fauci has become a caricature, a comic figure, a buffoon to many people. Hence, the BABYLON BEE article.

    In the novel, NINETEEN EIGHTY-FOUR, Big Brother continually changes who it is we are at war against...and most of the populace happily accepts the changing reality...without a thought.

    What I want is humility and honesty from Fauci and the flatulent fool.

    The former 18 wheeler driver actually drifted into that when he said that there is no federal solution to COVID.

    Fauci always portrays certainty and people have figured out that, with COVID, it's impossible to be certain...not you, of course...but some of us have. The consequence is that many no longer trust Fauci. And, many laugh at him.
