It's very uplifting to see workers win for a change. Congratulations to the Kellogg's unionized workers who went on strike for 3 months to get their just rewards!

    That's the benefit of there being a worker shortage and consumer demand. Kellogg threatened to hire replacement workers, but they couldn't find enough workers. I heard Nabisco settled too.

    So we might pay little more for Frosted Flakes and Oreo cookies. So what? Some will gripe about inflation, but when prices go up, probably some workers are earning a little more so they can buy little more.

    When there are enough companies making a certain product, if there isn't corporate collusion, supply and demand should keep prices for that product in check. That's why monopolies are outlawed, although due to corporate influence in Washington, antitrust laws are often skirted.
