Elon Musk donated $277,000,000 to Trump's re-election campaign so that he could personally exact vengeance against them. Banana republic crap.
From the US House Judiciary Committee:
• Department of Labor (DOL): DOL, which oversees the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) had over a dozen open investigations into Tesla and SpaceX regarding alleged unfair labor practices, safety violations, and discriminatory work practices.
• NLRB filed a complaint against SpaceX after eight employees said they were fired in retaliation for speaking critically of Musk; SpaceX sued the NLRB in response.
• OFCCP was conducting an audit of potential workplace discrimination at Tesla. EEOC sued Tesla for alleged racial harassment and retaliation in 2023.
• The DOL Inspector General was unlawfully fired by Trump during his midnight purge of inspectors general on Jan. 24.
• Trump fired the chair of the NLRB and has effectively shut down NLRB’s ability to rule on cases.
• Trump gutted OFCCP via an executive order on Jan. 21st before their investigation’s findings could be made public.
• Trump fired two of the three Democratic Commissioners on the EEOC.
• Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB): Consumers have submitted over 300 complaints about Elon Musk’s Tesla to the CFPB. 66 of these complaints were submitted in the last year.
• Trump fired CFPB Director Rohit Chopra and installed Project 2025 architect Russ Vought as the bureau’s acting director.
• CFPB’s Washington headquarters has been closed, and staff and contractors have been told that they cannot “perform any work tasks.”
• Musk tweeted “Delete CFPB” less than a week after the agency finalized a rule that could put his planned collaboration with Visa to offer a real-time payments system on the platform into the agency’s crosshairs.
• U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID): The USAID Inspector General initiated a probe into Starlink satellite terminals provided to the Government of Ukraine.
• USAID has been shuttered after Musk’s DOGE took a wrecking ball to the agency.
• The USAID Inspector General was fired days after publishing a report critical of the Trump Administration’s dismantling of the agency.
• Department of Transportation (DOT): DOT, which oversees the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), had several open investigations into Tesla. FAA had recently ordered SpaceX to carry out a formal investigation into the loss of a Starship vehicle during a test flight, and previously ordered over $630,000 in civil penalties against SpaceX.
• The DOT Inspector General was fired by Trump.
• The FAA Administrator resigned effective Jan. 20, following pressure from Musk.
• U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA): The USDA Inspector General launched a probe into Elon Musk’s Neuralink in 2022 for potential violations of the Animal Welfare Act. As of January, the investigation was ongoing.
• The USDA Inspector General, a 22-year veteran of the agency, was fired by Trump and later escorted out of her office by security guards.
• Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): EPA regulators have settled multiple lawsuits with Tesla over violations of the Clean Air Act and hazardous waste laws at the company’s automotive manufacturing plant in Fremont, California.
• The EPA Inspector General was fired by Trump.
• Federal Election Commission (FEC): The FEC is set to rule on a number of complaints filed during the 2024 election cycle, including complaints pertaining to Musk’s America PAC.
• The Trump Administration unlawfully removed FEC chairwoman Ellen Weintraub from her post.
• Department of the Interior (DOI): DOI oversees the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), which monitors the federal lands near SpaceX’s launch site in Texas for any damage to threatened species’ habitats. Musk has repeatedly clashed with FWS, calling their review process “unacceptable.”
• The DOI Inspector General was fired by Trump.
• Department of Defense (DOD): Concerns that SpaceX has repeatedly failed to comply with federal reporting protocols aimed at protecting state secrets, including by not providing some details of Musk’s meetings with foreign leaders, have reportedly triggered federal reviews by DOD’s Office of Inspector General, the Air Force, and the Pentagon’s Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security. The Air Force also recently denied Musk high-level security access, citing potential security risks associated with the billionaire.
• The DOD Inspector General was fired by Donald Trump.
• Department of Justice (DOJ): DOJ filed a lawsuit in 2023 against SpaceX for allegedly discriminating against asylees and refugees in hiring. DOJ also opened investigations into whether Tesla has been candid in describing the features of its vehicles.
• While leaving its Inspector General in place, for now, the Trump Administration has taken several actions to gut the DOJ, including firing top leadership and prosecutors.
• Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC): The SEC sued X in January 2025, alleging Musk misled shareholders about his Twitter stock purchases in 2022 and ordering Musk to pay the federal government aa much as $150 million. Musk called the agency a “totally broken organization” in response to the lawsuit.
• Trump vowed to fire the SEC Chair Gary Gensler “on day one”; Gensler stepped down before Trump could fire him, leaving a Republican majority at the SEC.
• Office of Government Ethics (OGE): Days after Members of Congress requested that OGE investigate Mr. Musk’s conflicts of interest—given his status as a Special Government Employee and his extensive business holdings that receive billions of dollars in federal government contracts and subsidies—the Director of OGE was fired by Trump.

All of what they're doing to our democratic republic is just so over-the-top disgustingly wrong. As more and more Trump voters realize that they were conned by these assholes, they'll join the rest of us in our fight to save our ourselves from these thieves.
Trump even cut off the funds that were paying for the cleanup at the Hanford nuclear lab in Washington state, which is the most toxic, radioactive site in the western hemisphere! I mean how reckless can one be? So all of those cleanup efforts that wete going on are on hold now. Good f---king grief.
by Donna on February 19, 2025 4:14 pm
I wonder how many Americans know about what I presented in my OP. I'd guess about a third.
***
Murray: Trump layoffs leave Hanford nuclear site with ‘skeleton crew’
More than a dozen Department of Energy workers were fired this month at a Central Washington nuclear cleanup site, with at least 30 more federal workers taking buyouts, the latest in President Donald Trump and “special government employee” Elon Musk’s quest to slash the federal workforce.
Layoffs at the Hanford site near Richland included safety engineers, environmental scientists and employees who protect workers’ rights, said Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., in a news release Friday.
“These reckless firings will slow down critical cleanup work and make workers less safe — trying to run Hanford with a skeleton crew is a recipe for disaster that could have irreversible impacts,” Murray said.
The Hanford site was used from World War II through the Cold War to produce two-thirds of the nation’s plutonium for nuclear weapons, leading to major contamination. Federal employees at the site are responsible for negotiating with regulators to make sure environmental cleanup work is completed and meets federal standards.

Wow. The FBI should investigate... Oh.
Don't you just regret the Dem smoke-filled room's attempt to foist the Dingbat on voters...
... because Trump controls EVERYTHING!
by oldedude on February 19, 2025 7:02 pm This was all done under pedojoe, so it has precedence because the dims said that it was okay, and that trumpster was a "threat to democracy." Okay, I'll play. Welcome to "turnabout is fair play" and the next 4+ years.
Donna- this is a thing called "precedence" or "precedent." I also wanted to say that my bet is that you're familiar with this. I just wanted to bring the rest up to snuff.
Precedent refers to a court decision that is considered an authority for deciding subsequent cases involving identical or similar facts, or similar legal issues. Precedent is incorporated into the doctrine of *stare decisis and requires courts to apply the law in the same manner to cases with the same facts. Some judges have stated that precedent ensures that individuals in similar situations are treated alike instead of based on a particular judge’s personal views.
Precedence the condition of being more important than someone else and therefore coming or being dealt with first
synonym priority
She had to learn that her wishes did not take precedence over other people's needs.
The speakers came on to the platform in order of precedence (= the most important one first).
Environmental concerns must be given precedence over commercial interest.
*Stare decisis is the doctrine that courts will adhere to precedent in making their decisions . Stare decisis means “to stand by things decided” in Latin.
My bet is you'll see a lot of this. Everyone please ear mark this so when I reference it, you'll know what Precedent or Precedence means. Keep it close. There's going to be a lot of whining about this one. law.cornell.edu law.cornell.edu oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com

I made a comment about an NBA player's wristwatch , which was flagged as "threatening". When given the choice to remove or review it - I said review it. Later the same day my account was permanently suspended. So I suspect they saw what I was saying about Musk (it was just after he bought Twitter, so he was daily conversation) and kicked me off. A lot of my friends had already been "suspended" and the conversations were degrading exponentially - so I was already thinking of leaving. I was on there under an assumed name with no background or personal info - so I can sign back up if need be, but it's just a waste of time.
by HatetheSwamp on February 20, 2025 11:11 am
"A lot of my friends had already been "suspended"..."
Friends? Doubt it.
by meagain on February 20, 2025 11:26 am Much the same, indy. I said that it was time Trudeau dropped the gloves and stopped being a nice guy to a Conservative Party leader who lied and demonised him daily. They said it was violent.
The funny part is that I can't now access Twitter to get out of it.
by meagain on February 20, 2025 11:30 am Te" Precedent. OD. You can go further than that. A precedent does not necessarily have to be followed. It can be overturned. A 'leading case' is a precedent that does have to be followed unless the interpretation of the law is overturned. I guess the Roe v. Wade issue would be that.
by oldedude on February 20, 2025 4:47 pm You're the fucking international lawyer. Please tell me that USC, Title VII has been changed. The issue is that you weren't paying attention from 1964 to the present to understand what OUR LAWS went through to get here. During the Korean war, you were sniffing some officer's pants to see if he shat himself. (Oh, I'm sorry, if he/she/they/them/it shat themselves).
So tell me, does poutine law and your "feelings" change our laws? Honestly, it's pretty obvious to Americans, that to insult you is a sport. Nothing more.
Also, you're on the losing end as usual. You're arguing just to argue. So just for your information, here's the stats from three days ago.
By a double-digit margin, more voters approve than disapprove of President Donald Trump’s move to end diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies in the federal government.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of ending government DEI programs, including 39% who Strongly Approve. Forty-two percent (42%) disapprove, including 29% who Strongly Disapprove of ending DEI policies in the federal government. (To see survey question wording[2])
So it doesn't really matter if you're the poutine lawyer of last century. No body cares about what you "think" our laws are. rasmussenreports.com rasmussenreports.com
by meagain on February 20, 2025 5:08 pm Your infantile post is typical bluster when you are stumped. And I don't give two hoots what the opinion polls say about DEI. The fact is, a law is enacted because there is a gap in the social need. Better brains than yours decide that. However, that is not correct. If all better brais decided it, it would mean all the half-wits who voted approval did.
Obviously, it was limited to those with the brains and position to decide.
You take crudity to sublime levels. It does not work with me. I pity you.

Meagain - I had the same problem. They shut me down - I couldn't post anything, but they left my account online so other people could still read it or pilfer things I had posted. Had to bug them for 2 weeks before they finally took it down.

Oh, I'm sure you have a lot more friends than I, Brown Shorts. Sure... The only problem is you couldn't identify any of them in public if your life depended on it because every time you see them their faces are covered with a white sheet. 😎🖕
by oldedude on February 20, 2025 6:41 pm back to the actual thread instead of stupid sideboards no one cares about.
Donna,
Why are your panties in a wad? Joe did the same thing in the pedojr issue. You didn't seem to mind then? And what about the FBI/DOJ running faux "investigations" of people and violating their rights? You supported that. So why shouldn't musk and trumpster have the same right? The precedent has been set. You can whine all you want. It's already been done. And considering the dims have been doing this since Hoover, I'm a tad concerned you're thinking this is odd.
Here is the caveat though. muskrat needs to have his stuff independently audited just like everyone else. I will stand by that. My question is; was muskrat targeted illegally? If so, that's a problem. AND the independent audit should be started fresh. (you always start an audit fresh so you don't "assume" the same "assumptions" the prior audit had).
We also know that many of the "IG's" quit when told their offices would be audited. That's a tell that they didn't want to get fired without any bennies by waiting for the graft and corruption to come out. Not naming names, just in general. I'm sure that some of them were just pissed, but there are far too many that already had their offices emptied.
by oldedude on February 20, 2025 6:44 pm Donna,
Were you aware the doors of the Treasury Headquarters were opened for the first time since pedojoe got into office? Does that sound strange to you? No one is expected to come to work?
by Donna on February 21, 2025 3:22 pm
"Why are your panties in a wad?"
Why is your mouth wrapped so tightly around Donald Trump's dick? At least the MAGA Senators are trying to protect their cushy DC jobs. What's your excuse?
by Indy! on February 21, 2025 4:11 pm

"Joe did the same thing on the pedojr issue?"
Huh?
I don't remember "Joe" attacking or abolishing any agencies or firing anyone for any reasons. What the hell are you talking about?
You're really onboard with what they're doing? Or is this just a game where you feel like you have to hit back every time your guys are called out, no matter how inequitable your comparisons are?
It's very obvious that Trump is taking a wrecking ball to our democratic republic so that he can rebuild it the way he personally wants it to be, with no oversight, like Putin, who he envies.
Iow, we will no longer have anything that resembles a democratic republic. It will just be Trump (or Elon) calling all the shots, domesticly and internationally, bypassing Congress, and beating up on poor people and Americans living paycheck to paycheck, who he despises (like my wife and I along with most Americans), and filling his coffers with the plunder gained from inflicting even more misery on them, us.
You can't see that? This is really the direction you want our country go?
We really need all the help we can get to depose these monsters. If you ever have a change of heart, the door is always open.

You are the one that bends over to fuck the cartels. If people support that, I want to hear them say that they believe raping woman to cross the border. and to be sold into sex slavery.

by oldedude on February 21, 2025 11:16 pm I want ANYONE that might sorta be in favor of women in slavery to please speak out now. Indy is hiding behind it's own racist and misogynist views of any woman in the world. If you don't speak up, then I "assume" you support sex slavery globally.
My view. If you believe in the lack of global slavery, then you must speak out. For too long, there are so many that have talked shit about slavery (welcome dimocratic slave holders), yet none of you have the stones to speak against the biggest chain globally. WTF? you don't have the stones to actually look at something going globally? I'll wait to
Donna and po, I'm talking directly to you. Neither of you have spoken up to the rape trees, of the slavery to children, nor of the women brought here to support the sex-SLAVE trade since the 1700's. If you don't speak out, you're no better than any other slave trader in Charleston bringing up a "woman" (she didn't have the status then of a "person." could be raped on the "scale" in front of people (meaning white slave buyers). This is a yes or no question. period. if you flail, it's on you to squeal like a fucking pig to support your choice.
Make your fucking choice. You're defending the slave trade or You're NOT defending the slave trade.
by Indy! on February 22, 2025 10:02 am
It always ends up being some kind of twisted sexual angle with OD. A sure sign he hasn't been laid in decades.
by oldedude on February 22, 2025 10:33 am And you're the one that continually mentions that it's "not that bad" and protecting the pedophiles, like you enjoy being the victim. And that you support the trees and slavery of children. You can't understand that it's wrong to have slavery on a global scale, especially since I'm sure you're well aware that your "buddies" are a large part of the problem. And it's a major part of your lifestyle. So for you, I understand that you don't care about women and children (mostly of colour) being sold and murdered and thrown in dumpsters when they've outlived their usefulness.
Po and Donna. My point here is that of all the issues for women, I would think human trafficking for sex slavery should be on the forefront of women's issues. Yet it's specifically not considered any problem at all. It also seems the left turning its back on this is odd. The trafficking of children and women seem to be a strictly conservative issue with the exception of those actually working to get rid of this. It just doesn't make sense to me.
by Indy! on February 22, 2025 11:28 am
You've never denied being a cop killer. Why do you hate cops, Old Dud? Because they might arrest you for raping your grandchildren one day? Ahhh... now it all makes sense.
by oldedude on February 22, 2025 11:55 am Donna- Here are four different articles related to pedojoe firing groups of people.
For the largest part, these are congressionally approved appointees. So it wasn't just rank and file workers, they had to go through the approval process in congress. These common changes set up the Lawfare portion of the pedojoe reign of terror and illegal use of the DOJ/FBI (which DOJ/FBI admitted to wrongfully and illegally lying to the courts in several cases. It also used the "Steele dossier" paid for by the dims (clitons mostly) as the predicate act to wrongfully charge trumpster and others illegally with not only with the false "impeachment" charges but were also introduced in other cases illegally (falsifying court documents and evidence). This is why the dossier was never used in any impeachment process.
The flip side of doing this (which is common for every president) is to have people that support the presidents' thoughts and objectives. I just "assumed" you understood the changes and precedence of every term. Even if the president is re-elected, there are often moves within the administration.

Funny, I don't see anything about Biden allowing cop killers out of prison and back on the streets of America in those links. 🤔
by oldedude on February 22, 2025 12:26 pm Interesting, because the only person who died on J6 was an Air Force veteran that was shot by law enforcement. Other officers died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds, and then there was a Heart Attack/stroke.
If you can show me that any officers were shot and killed on scene, I'm all ears. Otherwise, you're just a fucking LIAR.
And of all the people that's a cop killer it's you and your butties in the cartel. You know, the cannibals?
by HatetheSwamp on February 22, 2025 12:30 pm
Right.
The only person who died on J6 was an unarmed Air Force veteran. Ole pb expects her killer, who has been identified... and promoted... to receive attention from the Trump administration sooner or later.

Of course you would because that Capital security officer was doing his job protecting our elected officials. He warned that woman multiple times not to climb thru the window and she still did. You're a cop killer too, Brown Shorts - and if you can't kill them, you'll have them fired and arrested instead.
And the cops didn't have die ON J6 to have been killed BECAUSE of J6. Just because you two MAGAts don't understand how human beings can die from serious injuries a day or two later doesn't let your cop killer buddies off the hook.
Turn off Fox - rejoin reality.
by meagain on February 22, 2025 1:04 pm I am all in favour of it, OD. First, though, they have to be up to certain physical and intellectual standards - at least for those who will be in my harem.
If you want a serious answer to a foolish question, then look to your Republican Party, particularly its Christian Right. That is the political body that is legislating female subservience. It is not a "left" activity.
by oldedude on February 22, 2025 1:13 pm meagain- again, WTF are you talking about? your post makes no sense in any context here.
by Indy! on February 22, 2025 1:24 pm
He's saying you MAGAts don't respect women. Well, you did that one time - when some girl in your neighborhood turned out to be a better shot than you (not surprising, btw).
by oldedude on February 22, 2025 1:33 pm First of all, it wasn't a "girl" (you misogynist pig) that can't tell the difference. I was a paramedic, she was a sniper. and we were shooting at a target of you with your huge camel toe at 1000 metres. So it was more about you and your Camel toe than anything else.
And if you actually think that is a problem for me, you need to check your own hatred of women. Otherwise it wouldn't be a problem. Well that, and you don't have a clue about the military. So again, you must hate mommy a lot. If that's any indication of your hatred towards women.
It's no wonder the family calls you uncle ernie.
by meagain on February 22, 2025 1:54 pm Is it the onset of dementia, OD? You asked the question. " I want ANYONE that might sorta be in favor of women in slavery to please speak out now."
I gave you an answer. " The answer it deserved.
by oldedude on February 22, 2025 3:09 pm And yet at least two people on this site won't answer that question, and keep mocking me for me bringing it up.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So the question isn't that far off the mark.
One of them is princess, who is also one of the leads in DEI. It can't tell you the difference between a "girl" and a "woman."
I'm still wondering how it hasn't got it's ass kicked by some "girl" that is really a woman.
by Donna on February 22, 2025 3:49 pm
olde dude - Your guy is the president now. We discussed, debated those Biden issues you keep bringing up for four years, when he was president. We're discussing YOUR guy now. You don't get to keep resurrecting old debates about Biden to avoid having to defend what YOUR GUY is doing right now. Capiche?
Btw, it's pretty standard for a president to fire judges when he comes into office. Correction accepted, but I'm not complaining about the judges he picked.
by oldedude on February 22, 2025 5:14 pm Donna- y'all keep being little bitches about things pedojoe (your guy in and out) did also. You even protected him while doing illegal and unconstitutional acts). I already told you that if you're going to be whining now? WTF didn't you whine then? Or at least acknowledge that he was doing this, that, or the other thing. I also told you in the past administration I was going to do this because your memory was going to end when pedojoe moved on to the next illegal act in his life. I think it's only fair that you understand legal precedence and how it's now working in our system. You should have been bitching then also. I'd not mention it so much.
MY POINT HAS BEEN THAT PRECEDENCE HAS ALREADY BEEN SET WITH PEDOJOE. Does it bring up the other side a lot? Sure.
CAPICHE?
