What's going on is a $21,000,000 heist.

***

President Trump has given yet more power to Elon Musk, who is now leading the effort to dismantle the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Created in response to the 2008 financial crisis, the CFPB helps enforce consumer financial laws for mortgages, credit cards and other financial products.

We speak to a former CFPB staffer, Julie Margetta Morgan, who says the consumer watchdog has helped recover $21 billion lost to financial fraud and abuse in its decade-plus of existence. She says that Musk, the world’s richest man and a promoter of cryptocurrency, is attempting to eliminate sources of regulatory oversight as he plans to turn the social media company X, which he owns, into a payments platform. “The thing that stands in his way is having strong regulators who will make him play by the same rules as every other bank. The actions over the last few weeks have been incredibly bad for individual, everyday Americans, but incredibly good for Elon Musk’s pocketbook.”

Why would anyone with a brain trust a Muskkk / Homeless Hairdo financial instrument after most of them lost their money on the "meme coin" con those two and Melania ran on their own people during the inauguration?

You kinda answered your own question.

Can anyone tell pb, which members of NATO support Ukraine as a member?

    From CNN:
Many NATO allies would actually agree with Hegseth that getting Crimea back from Russia is not realistic, and not even Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has insisted on that as a precursor to peace talks. One NATO official said it would have been more concerning if Hegseth had said that returning to Ukraine’s pre-2022 borders was unrealistic.

A European defense official told CNN that while many in NATO don’t necessarily believe Ukraine can join the alliance given the political realities with Russia, they also don’t say so publicly —as Hegseth did...

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said earlier on Wednesday that he “agrees” with Trump... And Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans told CNN that “I do agree that as Europe, we should do much more in order to defend our own continent and to safeguard our own security.”

    Gang,

From before the Russian army entered Ukraine, pb's been the most hawkish of anyone here in supporting US involvement in the conflict.

But, gang, UKRAINE HAS NO LEGITIMATE CLAIM TO NATO MEMBERSHIP.

Zelenskyy is not Gandhi. He's actually a Putin style dictator thug. He's ended free speech and freedom of religion.

    Ukraine is corrupt.

It really did give the Biden Crime Family bribes when "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" was Obama's Veep by giving the unqualified Hunter Biden as a member of the Burisma board.

The NATO membership thing is not about Russia, it's about Ukraine.

Yesterday we learned that the unelected foreigner who's illegally and unconstitutionally "removing wasteful spending" purchased $400,000,000 of his defectuve, useless Tesla's for the government.

The question is, How are we going to stop the heist? Because if we don't, this is how it's going to be until, well, they're stopped.

Utter garbage! He was introducing Parliamentary democracy following a Russian friendly dictatorial President. He freed Ukraine from the Orthodox Church of Russia. He was rooting out corruption from that Russian dominated regime. Even refused the corruption Trump tried to buy.
