The most common thing that's shoplifted is the rubber ball that comes with jacks. I used to see a lot of shoplifting when I worked at grocery stores in rough parts of Long Beach, CA. If you don't live in a "blue city" (which is simply a GOP dog whistle for BLACK neighborhoods) - then you have nothing to say about it. We need LESS cops - not more cops. Shoplifting is a flea speck on a rat's ass when it comes to crime. The most expensive crime? Corporate wage and salary theft. It's something like 2000X the size of shoplifting but we don't hear a word about that because shoplifting triggers the idiots. So bless and cherish the shoplifters - they're doing good work.
