An NBC poll this week found men favor Trump over Harris by 12 points, 52% to 40%. Among women, Harris leads Trump by 21 points: 58% to 37%. Other polls have reported similar findings.
The good news for Harris supporters is that women are more reliable voters than men. Women who reported voting in 2020: 82,200,000. Men: 72,500,000.
Somewhat contradicting those self-reported numbers above, 79,300,000 women and 65,000,000 men were registered to vote in 2020. However, it is more evidence that women are more likely to vote than men.
There's more good news for Harris. Various polls have indicated that Harris is favored by college educated voters. As the Rutgers statistical report indicates, the more education a person has, the more likely they are to vote.
