Trump says he wants to make IVF treatment free as president

Former President Trump said on Thursday that the cost of in vitro fertilization would be covered by the government or insurance companies for "all Americans that need it" if he is elected in November.

The big picture: The GOP presidential nominee said he'd mandate the coverage but didn't specify how his proposal would work.

IVF treatment costs around $10K a try.

    Trump is obviously worried about his dwindling support from women. His free IVF plan is a cynical ploy with little chance of passage. Republicans in Congress can hardly be expected to make IVF free when they opposed making IVF access protected. Nor are Republicans likely to mandate insurance companies provide it free.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Republicans have blocked legislation that would protect access to in vitro fertilization, objecting to a vote on the issue Wednesday even after widespread backlash to a recent ruling by the Alabama Supreme Court that threatens the practice.

    I agree with trumpsters views on abortion. They're pretty much like mine. That is horrible to the die heard Christians. For myself, we need to agree on a middle ground. Obviously, neither side of the hardcore groups will accept that. Neither the left or the right radical elements will negotiate about "anything." You take a look here. To the left, negotiation means you have to agree with them, so that's what happens on the right now. Why do we get stupid restrictive abortion laws? Because of the threat of reducing all abortion law to burning feces. So this is what you get for non- negotiations. Like when little nancy and chuckie met with trumpster. trumpster asked what they could negotiate on? They said nothing. They wanted the bill as is and wouldn't give on anything. Trumpster walked. It's useless to waste your time with people that will not negotiate. Period. And it goes for either side.

    SCOTUS disagrees with you because obomber said "it was a tax" therefore, they compared it to Social Security that you pay into. Had they not said it was a tax, it was illegal to do. So after declining to call it a tax the entire time it was going through congress (because it couldn't pass like that) they changed their minds. Had it not been a tax, congress would have dropped it for federal over-reach.

    Socializing family itself: why the left Trump wants free fertility treatments for all

    The old, industrial socialism meant asserting control over the means of production.

    Biological socialism is when government manages the means of reproduction.

    Biological socialism, like the old-fashioned kind, aims to equalize conditions — in this case, the conditions that apply to natural families and artificially commissioned ones.

    They too might feel anguish over not having biological offspring due to circumstances outside their control — not medical but social circumstances.

    But when the misfortune is not truly out of one’s control — when biologically fertile people do not engage in procreative sex — insurance mandates become an instrument of social engineering, for redistributing money and responsibility alike.

    A self-governing people arises from self-governing institutions, above all the family.

    And families arise from fertility.

    If the California legislature Trump replaces the biological laws of fertility with its own political preferences, it will remove the family from the realm of custom and nature, which no one controls, and socialize the very building block of society.

    Karl Marx didn’t think big enough.

    Why expropriate anything else when you can seize the factories that make men and women?

    The only thing I can say is "I'm so thankful we're in a capitalist system where it pays to have smarter workers. Socialism doesn't need that. They use stupid people all the time. As long as you can produce the minimum, you don't have to think! And they don't even have to be that good!

    By definition that is wrong. Capitalism is dependent on an uneducated workforce. A compliant, easily led source of labour. Capitalism has always opposed education beyond a low level for with education comes understanding and a people who understands how it is milked for the benefit of the Capitalist is a people who will rise against it. Socialism, on the contrary, values education above all so that each person is able to contribute to society to the maximum of their potential.

    Old Dud gets his "info" from Fox. That's why he can't tell the difference between socialism and communism. Plus the military which is not here to "spread democracy" but to spread capitalism for all the reasons meagain just noted.
