Just one day after lengthy footage of violent insurrectionists storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 was shown to attendees and remote viewers of the Democratic National Convention, word has begun to circulate that former president Donald Trump will be hosting a gala event in their honor in September at his Bedminster, New Jersey country club.

A flyer for the "J6 Awards Gala" reported on by MTN lists Rudy Giuliani as a guest speaker for the event where "attendees will have a chance to win a plaque commemorating the MAGA community's purchase of numerous copies of Trump's 'Justice for All' song," with the event description reading: "We gather to pay tribute...to all J6 defendants who have shown incredible courage and sacrifice."

    I guess considering many of the folks were illegally over charged and sentenced, i think there should be apologies from the dims.
    Especially with the conditions since it was deemed unfit for convicted rapists and murderers and was closed for health and safety standards

    I do know that OD and pb were denouncing the incursion in the moment, while po was praising the mayhem in Minneapolis in that moment.

    And, Donna, what the metaphorical Rachel doesn't seem to be telling you is that very few MAGAs did bad things on J6. Oath Keepers, yes. Proud Boys, certainly...

    ...but MAGAs, not really.

    Po- Unfortunately the federal courts disagree with you. I know you were a law clerk for scotus and all, but I think you're out gunned here. And since we're all just citizens, your (and my) vote doesn't matter or count.

    I'm a bit concerned that two and 2 1/2 people don't seem to give a shit at all that in one area of one state collected 800 assholes and rescued almost 50 slaves. I guess that makes huge statements about people's care for human life.

    Maybe I'm not too surprised...
