Trump is just going through the motions.

The Trump rally in Pennsylvania was in a stadium that only holds 8k people…there are plenty of empty seats and plenty of people leaving.

Turn the volume up, you can hear Donald speaking while people are leaving.

    Don't you wish you had a few MAGAs on SS? Like in the good old days? I saw bits of the rally. It seemed rather typically raucous to me... and, I doubt that you watched for even a second.

    The video shows people leaving a section of the auditorium along the side of the Trump rally which has many empty seats. The section appears to be behind the stage. A muffled Trump can be heard speaking in the background.

    And according to a USA today report the Maga crowd was trickling out as Trump rambled on.

    Here's your definitive answer. This is from PB's video he sourced a few posts up. What it shows is the start of the rally and towards the end of the rally underneath. The green circle shows the empty seats where people left. The yellow circles are the timestamps - the first one is the actual time the video has ran, the second one is the total length of the video. So using the first numbers we can see the time elapsed between the two photos is about 1hr 23mins. If you watch the video, it's funny how fast the network switches right back to a close-up of Trump when they realize people are leaving in the long range crowd shot.

    Oh, and btw - those are the people in the lower deck. If you've ever been to one of these rallies in an arena, the upper deck fills last and empties first because those are the people who care the least... they get there later and leave earlier. So you can bet the rest of the arena is pretty empty as well.

    Thanks for the excellent forensic analysis. I suspect we will see other MAGA rallies with empty seats with dejected Trump voters sneaking out early. And Trump and Trumpers denying reality.

    Thanks, Curt. I did that because looking at the original video, it occurred to me that it could have been faked - either early video of the arena before the seats are filled or later after people are leaving with the Trump speech audio added later over it. There's no faking here - I even used PB's source video. So if it's fake - the network faked it, not me. 😌

    BTW, there are other telling signs as well. When they have Trump in the solo close-ups where you can see a lot of people behind him you can see the people getting bored and antsy. Another thing we can't account for from the video - but most likely happened - is the other end of the arena is probably even more empty. The campaign make attendees fill in the areas up close to the stage for just this reason - so it looks full. Obama was such a cheapskate he would only hand out signs to the people who were going to be visible on camera.

    pb almost always watches at least some of every Trump rally. As much as you think there's a decline in support and enthusiasm, I'm not seeing it.

    Thanks Donna. Another point to consider - in that set-up they have there, the seats that are emptying out are most likely VIP seats as well. That's generally how they do it - the seats closest to the candidate(s) are generally VIP seating. So those people leaving are probably Trump's volunteer workers and other local R people.
