Former President Trump crushed President Biden during their presidential debate on Thursday, according to new polling data.

A survey of 500 registered voters by Schoen Cooperman Research found 51% of voters who watched or were familiar with the debate believed Trump won, compared to just 23% who said Biden triumphed.

Slightly more than half of voters said Biden’s alarming performance was worse than they expected, while 17% thought Trump underperformed.

More voters than not said Trump’s performance was “more presidential” than Biden’s.

Nearly three-quarters of voters said they left the debate “more concerned” about Biden’s “age and fitness to be president.”

On Trump, 39% of voters were more concerned about his being “chaotic, out of control, and not having the right character to be president” — while 30% said they were now less concerned about this issue following the debate.

Obviously, Biden had a terrible debate. But, Trump didn't come through it very well either.

"That feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" lost the debate but the Orange Turd didn't win. Biden lost votes but pb doesn't think Trump gained many.

Just sayin.

The big story here is that only 51% say Trump won the debate. I would have given Trump the win if the pollsters had called me. Biden was awful.

Yeah. 51% is curiously low. But, it is above 50%.

You know how much I HatetheSwamp. It boggles my mind that no alternative candidate is gaining traction. The percentage of double haters is at a record high. I am surprised and depressed.

I think that Joe still has a chance to win because Trump is so unattractive a candidate to moderate and independent common sense voters. But, it'll be hard to forget Joe's demeanor during the debate and his ridiculous assertions.

True. The real narrative should be "how did the United States come to this?"

I think that's the point. It's not about pedojoe being okay or "good." They're seeing pedojoe as being "not the guy that needs to be in charge of the nuclear weapons of the US." Obviously, it's not him that is going to turn the key. It's his handlers. And they don't understand WTF they're doing. Honestly, maybe it's not pedojoe I'm against. Maybe it's the handlers the DNC set up for him and are setting up his "policy" that are soo bad. This makes him a liability to the nation. He doesn't know he's turning the key to ensure MAD with Putin.

I think it's sad when you're voting for a person's handlers rather than them. That's the state of what we've come to.

    Good point, OD.

Back in 020, Curt was saying that, these days, the Executive Branch is run by a team and, even if what I say about Joe being like my dad at stage 4 of 7 in dementia, it's no big deal. But, in this way, it does matter.

We can't trust string-pullers with the nuclear codes.

Nuclear codes. LOL! What a non-issue.
