Two of them, anyway: Fox News Sunday and Meet the Press... one GOP SwampMedia, one woke Dem SwampMedia.
Some impressions. The Dems sent low level surrogates to both shows. Fox got pb's Senator, John Fetterman. NBC got Raphael Warnock. Both are standing by their man, grampa Joe. Fetterman did so by recounting his own disastrous debate performance, followed by a victory. Warnock said that, yeah, Joe didn't have a great night,... but Trump's a liar.
Imo, what they said is less important than who they are in the Dem scheme of things. Nobodies. Chuck You Schumer wasn't out speaking for the party. Nor Kammy. Especially, no one up for reelection. No one significant... by a looooooooong shot.
The Dem panel members of the Fox panel was Richard Fowler. My guess? You woke, white progressives don't even know who the heck that is. He's like the fifth string replacement for the Dem chair on The Five. He's an unimaginative spouter of the day's Dem talking points. He didn't offer a vigorous defense of the Former Truck Driver for November.
The two GOP surrogates were JD Vance on Fox and Doug Burgam on NBC. Vance had an easy job on Fox. Burgum was pressed by Kristen Welker with standard TrumpHate clichés. Nuthin new. Interestingly, I wasn't impressed with Burgum.
My take away is that members of the Dem SwampMedia and the Dem politicians are treading water, not defending the "dithering and diminished" Doddering Old Fool but not calling for his removal from the ticket.
On Fox, Shannon Bream asked her panel to declare themselves. Will Joe Biden be the Dem candidate in November? One of hers said no but the rest, yes. Bottom line: If it ain't Joe it'll be Kammy and Kammy is a disaster.
On NBC, there was no pretense of journalism. The whole gang was spitballing ways that the Dems can pull out of the tailspin the Flatulent Fool created. Honestly, they weren't hopeful.
Interesting.
