(The Hill)Former President Trump fumed Monday over his legal troubles after a New York judge scheduled an April 15 start date for his hush money trial despite Trump’s efforts to postpone the case.

Trump, speaking down the street from the Manhattan courthouse after the judge’s ruling, railed against the 2016 hush money case and his legal problems more broadly as a matter of “election interference” that should not be allowed during a campaign season.

“I don’t know how you can have a trial that’s going on right in the middle of an election. Not fair. Not fair. It’s not fair at all,” he said, calling the cases against him “ridiculous” and “a shame.”

    All of pb's Legal Goobers say that these charges are a joke and that there's no way Trump's inevitable conviction will stand up on appeal... AND that moderate and independent low-information voters, very likely, will see through this.

    Intentionally misinformed voters, though, will have fun with it in the interim... and, you are.

    Maybe the FOX and NewsMax legal pundits are right about the legal aspects of the case, although I am skeptical. But consider the politics of this trial. It will be courtroom drama featuring falsified business records, election shenanigans, a porn star, infidelity, adultery, lurid details, compelling characters and more.

    Even if Trump wins or appeals the verdict, it's hard to see how Trump comes away from this looking good. Maybe Trump will positively impress some philandering husbands, but they are a small voting bloc.

    This trial is about events that took place in 015. There's nuthin new here.

    Trump is despicable. The Dem Swamp is despicable-r.

    So consider it a period courtroom drama. "Perry Mason" is more than 60 years old and that show is still airing on TV. Anyway, there are lot of juicy details not revealed or well-known eight years ago.

    If Trump overcame the pu$$y grabbing scandal, except for those ranters in your Holy Trinity, my guess?, if anything, this makes Trump appear to be a persecuted man.

    "Fox" "mo-rons" like Alan Dershowitz think this is a farce.
