I don't know if the video will work.

All GOPs voted for. All Dems who voted, voted against.

As we know, the GOP is the home of openness and inclusion, acceptance, diversity, tolerance and freedom. Rarely do they all follow the party line.

They did today!

It is interesting some of the dims were "too busy" to vote for pedojoe. I realize it wouldn't have done any good, but to not show up and cast a vote, is actually casting a vote against. So that's interesting. Sounds like that's what little nancy could get in this vote. That's interesting.

  2. by Curt_Anderson on December 13, 2023 4:09 pm
Actually, there was only one person not voting: Bradley Schneider (D-IL).

I don't know if that was a "statement" or if he was sick or something.

If you don't show up for a vote in congress, it's a political vote. I wish I was as naive as you.

Well, well... looks like I finished my impeachment tutorial just in time for the latest thread on SelectSmart... fortuitous synchronicity or Indy just totally sticking the landing again? You can decide before OR after you check it out below... ENJOY!

I am glad I am not suspicious and conspiracy-minded like you. I'll need to see some evidence that Schneider's non-vote was a "political vote" against Biden.

Thanks, Curt. Haven't done any of these in months - it was fun to release the creative juices again.

He is part of the "No Labels" group of dims. So it's sure he has no love of pedojoe. That other thingie about Schneider refusing to co-sponsor bills with Republicans who deny Biden's victory is a bit phobic, but if that's what he wants, okay. Constitutionally, there are those on the other side that don't believe that, and he doesn't want to work with them. I would have a hard time too.

He must have been with his mistress at the time. He's only missed 1% of votes. If it was a friday (when there are rarely votes) I'd give him a break. But honestly, unless you can show he was sick, I stand on what I said.

Again, you understand so friggin' little about how DC works, it's embarrassing. sunshine, lolypops, and rainbows everywhere! (thank you Leslie!)
    I'm just a realist.

    OD,
I said in #2 above, "I don't know if that was a 'statement' or if he was sick or something." You are the one who insists, "it's a political vote". I just asked you for some evidence, maybe Rep. Schneider explaining his non-vote. Until then I withhold judgment.

    OD,
The case wasn't a rape case; it was a defamation case. As with any case, it is the jury's job to evaluate the credibility of the witnesses. Trump did not impress them as very credible.

Trump denied that he had ever met Carroll, accused her of trying to sell books, implied she had a political agenda, saying that Carroll was "totally lying" and that "she's not my type."

Here is where Trump shoots himself in the foot: Trump was shown this photograph, he mistakenly identified E. Jean Carroll as his second wife, Marla Maples, despite his first wife Ivana Trump also being in the picture; upon recognizing his mistake, he protested that the photo was "very blurry" (the photo is not blurry).

Talking to you is like reading the neverending story and expecting an end. Someday.
