LEWISTON, Maine, Oct 27 (Reuters) - The man suspected of killing 18 people and wounding 13 in a shooting rampage in Lewiston, Maine, was found dead of a likely self-inflicted gunshot wound on Friday, ending a 48-hour manhunt that followed the most lethal episode of gun violence in the state's history.

The body of Robert R. Card, 40, was discovered in the woods near the neighboring town of Lisbon Falls, near where police found his abandoned vehicle shortly after the shooting spree on Wednesday night.

"He is dead," Maine Governor Janet Mills told a news conference, thanking the hundreds of officers from various agencies involved in the search.

"Like many people, I am breathing a sigh of relief tonight, knowing that Robert Card is no longer a threat to anyone ... Now is the time to heal," Mills said.

Card died of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, said Mike Sauschuck, Maine's Department of Public Safety commissioner.

I have stated many times how horrible such occurrences of mass murder like this are to me. And I fully hereby declare this case as a particularly heinous one that I fully condemn in the strongest possible terms. My heart goes out to the families and friends of all the victims for their unimaginable loss. I am so glad that the killer is dead and won't be causing anymore homicidal chaos.


But what of Hate and olde dude? They apparently LOVE mass murders and mass murderers judging from their total silence on this case. Not a word from them about it. They apparently are all in favor of and fully support mass shootings and believe that mass murderers are justified in their massacres. They think that the families and friends of the victims are assholes for even complaining about it.

Given their silence, they have proven to be totally allied with the shooter and all others like him and are likely out in the streets protesting for mass murderers' rights even as I type. Judging from their silence on this, they are likely out right now creating memorials to the memory of the fallen mass shooters everywhere and sending anonymous "FUCKYOU" emails to victims' relatives.

I think Hate and olde dude are disgusting excuses for human beings the way they support, defend, and cheer on mass shooters the way they do.
