I’m here to read the progressives gloat on the Trump indictments.

I haven’t been following politics for the last 3 years so I won’t comment. I honestly don’t have much of an understanding on what is going on. I have seen the Trump TikTok’s the “I just learned about that” and they are hysterical. I’m enjoying the short form content from that CCP app.

I do want to say… We told you the Russian collusion nonsense was a democratic and deep state attempt to rig the election and then remove Trump from office. Pretty fucking shady… A much larger scandal than watergate. Y’all have to give us that one…

How can you differentiate between more of the same and legit justice? Kinda hard isn’t it?

    tuk!

    pb here.

Good to hear from you. I hope you hang around.

TDS is real. I've learned to laugh at it. When you accomplish that mindset, SS is, as much as anything, a comedy site. I started laughing about the time you checked out here.

As far as understanding what's going on? Kathy McCollum, the mother of one of the 13 US service members killed during Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan has referred to Biden as "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap."

Those words describe what has happened in the US in the last three years.

Again, good to hear from you. ~pb

    tuk,

I think we're all about the same. po and Donna (Hornswoggle) have moved from The People's Republic of California to Arizona, presumably because they couldn't afford to live in that socialist Camelot.

Curt still thinks Hillary won the 016 Dem nomination fairly...and Indy still tries to set him straight.

And, you're right that all of our progressives have still to see the light.

It's good to have you back.

Hey Tuk! Nice to see you again!

"We told you the Russian collusion nonsense was a democratic and deep state attempt to rig the election and then remove Trump from office." -Tuk

Okay, what in the world is that supposed to mean???

"I’m here to read the progressives gloat on the Trump indictments." -Tuk

It's not so much gloating as it is a tremendous feeling of justice being served and Karma having its way with someone who deserves it.

And yeah I guess some gloating too. I mean... after all that sociopathic orange tub-o-lard has done to this country and its people, the way he's used the Constitution like toilet paper, the way he fuckedup our standing in the world, the allies he's screwed and the authoritarian dictators he embraced, the hundreds of billions of dollars he handed out to billionaires, his racketeering around his attempt to steal the election from Biden, the violent coup he organized and unleashed, and all the rest of the cornucopia of felonies he blatantly and constantly committed... yeah, we do feel something of a great sense of schadenfreude at seeing his flagrantly criminal career finally get the legal justice it has all had coming for years now.

So hey. Give us a break. We've earned these moments of joy at seeing him finally get what he's got coming to him. How could anyone blame us for all the cheering and singing and dancing in the streets?

When I start thinking of Trump I find myself doing a little Irish Jig no matter where I am !!!

And of course we all enjoy raising a pint with friends and singing "Happy Days Are Here Again" !! 🍻

  7. by Ponderer on August 17, 2023 7:23 am

And by the way, They got Trump dead to rights. He's toast. Quite burnt and with extra butter. A lot of the most damning evidence provided by Trump himself!

And all the right has is bullshit allegations of false this and fraudulent that. It's all flaming desperation on their part to fuckup the proceedings any way they can, since they know he can't win on the merits of any of the cases.

Trump broke the law, many times and in many ways, and he's finally going to be made to pay for his crimes.

What could be more American? Why is the "Party of Law and Order" so up in arms about what's happening to him? He's a flagrant criminal and criminals must pay for their crimes. Democrat or MAGA Republican.

What's up, Tuk? Been a minute. Yeah I find it pretty funny the Ds on the board still pretend the Trump/Russia farce was real. Proves my point that there's no difference between the two parties.

    Tuk22,
Thanks for the reappearance! I hope all is good in your life. Yes, I have schadenfreude watching Trump and his cohorts facing mounting legal bills and pressures. I enjoy their squirming and anxiety over their dubious futures and their dashed reputations.

Since you asked, one of the pleasures in being right in the first place is that you don't need to change your mind later.

Russia DID interfere with the 2016 election on behalf Donald Trump. See the Mueller report which I quote and link to below. Trump was happy to get the help and the Russians didn't need explicit instructions from Trump.

In the same way, Trump did not need to collude with the person who posted the names and addresses of the Georgia jurors or collude with the woman who was just arrested for threatening Judge Chutkan.

Mueller also documents that the Russians essentially duped Bernie Sanders supporters into thinking the Hillary unfairly won the Democratic nomination. Supposedly a snarky internal email threw the nomination to Clinton. They ignore the fact that she had more than 3.5 million more votes than Sanders in the 2016 Democratic primary.

Report On The Investigation Into Russian Interference In The 2016 Presidential Election
The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion. Evidence of Russian government operations began to surface in mid-2016. In June, the Democratic National Committee and its cyber response team publicly announced that Russian hackers had compromised its computer network. Releases of hacked materials—hacks that public reporting soon attributed to the Russian government—began that same month.

Additional releases followed in July through the organization WikiLeaks, with further releases in October and November. In late July 2016, soon after WikiLeaks’s first release of stolen documents, a foreign government contacted the FBI about a May 2016 encounter with Trump Campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos. Papadopoulos had suggested to a representative of that foreign government that the Trump Campaign had received indications from the Russian government that it could assist the Campaign through the anonymous release of information damaging to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. That information prompted the FBI on July 31, 2016, to open an investigation into whether individuals associated with the Trump Campaign were coordinating with the Russian government in its interference activities. That fall, two federal agencies jointly announced that the Russian government “directed recent compromises of e-mails from US persons and institutions, including US political organizations,” and, “[t]hese thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the US election process.” After the election, in late December 2016, the United States imposed sanctions on Russia for having interfered in the election. By early 2017, several congressional committees were examining Russia’s interference in the election. Within the Executive Branch, these investigatory efforts ultimately led to the May 2017 appointment of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller, III. The order appointing the Special Counsel authorized him to investigate “the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election,” including any links or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the Trump Campaign. -- Page 1

By February 2016, internal IRA* documents referred to support for the Trump Campaign and opposition to candidate Clinton.49 For example, [redacted] directions to IRA operators [redacted] “Main idea: Use any opportunity to criticize Hillary [Clinton] and the rest (except Sanders and Trump - we support them).”50 -- Page 23

*Who is the IRA? The first form of Russian election influence came principally from the Internet Research Agency, LLC (IRA), a Russian organization funded by Yevgeniy Viktorovich Prigozhin and companies he controlled.. (Prigozhin is back in news leading his Wagner Group against Ukraine) --- Page 19

Not gunna lie team, it’s been really nice to take a break from politics. There’s definitely something to that old saying “ignorance is bliss”.

Good to hear from everyone, though.

    Curt,

Good to see the boss of SS hasn’t lost a step. The Mueller report was the coverup. It’s evidence of what a sham investigation looks like.

Curious if the anti war progressives here who rightfully argued against the gulf wars are now ok with what is happening in Ukraine?

    PB,

TDS is very real he was not supposed to win. Less than 10% from some pollsters. That sting hit people hard.

    Pond,

Good to hear from you! Will the indictments interfere with the election? Will trump have to stop running? Just curious what your opinion is.

    Indy,

What’s good, Bro? Any Dem you are willing to put your support into? Thoughts on RFK jr?

Good to see you back tuk ! 👍

You beat me to it Curt! I was also going to post the transcript of the Mueller Report. I doubt many people who believe the Russia collusion charge was a hoax have ever looked at or gone over Mueller’s report.

"Anybody" can say it was a sham and a cover up but what they can’t do is defend that position by pointing out anything in the report that is false, not true, and/or demonstrates that it was all a hoax. Mueller never said or implied such a thing in any way whatsoever, he simply gathered the evidence and presented it in his report. He also stated that Barr misrepresented what the report said.

The hoax believers can only say that “somebody else” said it was a hoax, and they accepted it hook line and sinker. If they had taken the time to go over the report they would find that the evidence clearly demonstrates otherwise.

    tuk, OD, Indy,

Aren't them 016 election deniers just so d@ng cute. Who'd EVER deny the results of a US presidential election!!!!!?

    Unfathomable! Bahahahahahahahahahaha baha baha!

  14. by Ponderer on August 17, 2023 3:05 pm

Tuk, some of his court dates may conflict with some of his campaign plans.

I don't believe he'll have to stop running. But given that he might find himself in jail off and on for awhile, some of his jail time may be a big conflict schedule wise for him.

  15. by tuk22 on August 17, 2023 3:27 pm
    Thanks Islander!

It was indeed a sham investigation, most likely launched to conceal evidence that the Clinton campaign was funding the bogus Steel Dossier and handing it off to the FBI who was already illegally spying on Trump during “crossfire hurricane”. “Not in my purview” lol if this was a legit investigation how in the hell did the Mueller team miss that? Well, they were paid to look the other way. If it wasn’t for Barr, who we now know was never a fan of Trump, laying out his executive summary of the report stating no collusion, this would have been the bullshit to impeach Trump. The deep state had to find another solution…

  16. by HatetheSwamp on August 17, 2023 3:35 pm

    Bang on, tuk!!!!!
