Eric Adams is open to discussing Tom Homan's plan regarding getting the violent gangs out of NYC. A good move forward to reach the hands across the isle. I'm sure no promises from anyone yet. The idea would be to see what Adams will do to help Homeland and USBP, and what Homan will do to start taking out (mostly) Tren de Agua (TdA), systematically and be able to leave those not committing crimes alone.

Mayor Eric Adams is set to meet with President-elect Donald Trump’s “border czar” Tom Homan next week — as the city scrambles to prepare for a massive shift in immigration policy with the incoming White House administration.

“I am looking forward to sitting down and speaking with the border czar next week,” Adams said on MSNBC Thursday morning.

“I want to hear the actual plan and how are we going to operationalize the plan,” Adams said, adding he has “not been silent” on his feelings regarding migrants who commit “violent crimes” in the Big Apple.

The first thing the Adams administration must do is not allow these folks out of jail before the reports are done. There may also have to be a "level" of crime that USBP will or will not take the TdA folks. Obviously, traffic tickets and stealing a sandwich isn't a deportable offense. Rape (sexual assault of any kind), murder, attempted murder, assault on a police officer would be a good start. Also, going through the entire booking process. So DNA swatches, prints, etc.

“I would like to hear the border czar’s plan on addressing that,” the mayor told MSNBC.

The sitdown is slated for next Thursday morning at City Hall, The Post confirmed.

The meeting comes as Hizzoner signaled he’s open to taking a harder stance and loosening sanctuary city rules that bar local officials from working with federal immigration authorities.

Adams told reporters Tuesday that asylum seekers should be deported after being charged with a crime.

He had previously maintained that asylum seekers should only be deported after they are convicted and serve their time in jail or prison.

Adams has a hard sell on this with the city councils. If one borough doesn't play, then the crime will go there. Which I don't think is a bad thing. Cockroaches go to where it's easy to live.

I am hoping this is a good thing for both, and the mutual assistance can get ironed out.

One of the biggest mistakes the string-pullers made was to turn the corrupt Biden DOJ against Adams.

Don't be surprised to see Trump pardon Adams in the early days.

  2. by oldedude on December 6, 2024 5:45 am
I think pardoning the dem that had the DOJ weaponized against them is a great thing. Right now, only the ignorant don't believe the DOJ was the little dictator's personal vendetta teams. Pedojr being the exception.

  3. by meagain on December 6, 2024 6:42 am

Not let them out of jail until the reports are done? Are you suggesting keeping people in jail when they have served their sentences?

Asylum seekers deported when charged? Don't you believe in innocent until proven guilty?

This seems to be introducing a whole new idea of what justice is in a Topsy Tyrvy Trump world.

  4. by oldedude on December 6, 2024 8:02 am
I know there are a lot of liars there. We know the areas/countries that have actual legit reasons for seeking amnesty. And one of those is NOT "I want to go to the US." Pedojoe relaxed the definition of "need for amnesty."

The issue is more about keeping the good, solid folks that are working their tails off trying to make a living here. But we have to cull the herd. That's what Adams and Homan want. That will reduce the issues on the courts and make it better for those that actually want to live here and contribute.

Final FY23 Numbers Show Worst Year at America’s Borders—Ever
    October 26, 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the House Committee on Homeland Security released its latest “Startling Stats” factsheet outlining U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) September and Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 border encounter data. In the final month of FY2023, CBP recorded 269,735 encounters at the Southwest border, marking another unprecedented milestone under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and President Joe Biden’s open-borders policies. This monthly number also represents an 86% increase from June 2023, when the Biden administration celebrated a short-lived drop in illegal crossings following the end of Title 42.

DHS identifies more than 600 migrants with possible ties to vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua
More than 600 migrants in the US with possible ties to the vicious Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua have been identified by the Department of Homeland Security, frightening new data revealed.

About 100 of the 600 “subjects of interest” were confirmed members of Tren de Aragua — and even recommended by Homeland Security to be placed on an FBI watchlist, according to NBC, which obtained the disturbing figures.

The other 500 were victims, witnesses or other members of the gang, officials said.

Nationwide Border Encounters Surpass 10 Million Under Biden-Harris Administration as Americans Suffer
    August 21, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the House Committee on Homeland Security released its July “Startling Stats” factsheet reflecting the July 2024 U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) border encounter data. According to CBP, total nationwide encounters exceeded 170,000 in July, including 104,116 along the Southwest border—bringing the grand total of nationwide encounters under the Biden-Harris administration to 10.1 million, a staggering 200-percent increase from FY17-FY20 combined. Notably, this does not include the roughly two million known gotaways recorded by CBP since the start of FY21.

And you "say" you live in the "real world?" You don't even have enough empathy for another human being to at least try to understand what filth they're living in day to day. But I guess since they're just the little brown and black people, you don't give a shit about them. Well played, wellplayed. I do "think you complete lack of humanity IS your real world. That tiny bubble of sunshine, lollipops, rainbows, and unicorns are the major feature of your shitty, shallow, meaningless life.

The other thing is that as an anarchist, NYC is your perfect place to live. You get to watch the police get murdered, smell the human shit (and step around it), and get to hang out shooting up like your mommy did. Please move there.

Sorry your mom was hooked on heroin, OD. Not for you - you deserve shitty parents - for your mom's sake.

  8. by meagain on December 6, 2024 2:40 pm

The people you seem to want to be kicked out, OD, are the little brown and black people. So, who is it that lacks compassion (to rephrase your term for it>) It is after all, a family issue.

"Right now, only the ignorant don't believe the DOJ was the little dictator's personal vendetta teams. Pedojr being the exception." - olde dude

Merrick Garland dithered for well over a year and waited almost two years to appoint Jack Smith as special procecutor, and he's been harshly criticized for that. The more conspiratorial on the left have even gone so far as to accuse him of being in cahoots with the GOP.

I guess you can call me ignorant then, because if Biden were "the little dictator" who used the DOJ as one of his "personal vendetta teams", then why didn't he order Garland to jump right on the Jan 6 case immeduately instead of allowing him to dither for over a year, thus allowing Trump to use appeals to run out the clock?

  10. by Indy! on December 6, 2024 4:02 pm

Funny how the Ds always find a way to NOT convict. What did Indy say the entire time?

    Nobody is going to jail.

    They ARE "in cahoots", Donna.

don't know. What I do know is those cases are falling apart like the Berlin Wall. Except for those suckers that won't look at that media. You're another one that loves Chinese media. For any American that is paying the least bit of attention and is not supporting the CCP, you'd recognize it. Otherwise you're nothing but a useful idiot.

What's funny is that I put this out as a positive that we can work together IF one side is willing to help the other. Homan put the word out. Adams returned the favour.

What this shows to me is the dims and sheep want the little brown and black people to be murdered in their homes. Without any recourse. None of the "liberals" (read confederate racists) only desire for the little brown and black people to just murder themselves.

And yet the GOP actually sees these people as FUCKING HUMAN BEINGS. None of the liberals want to get rid of the human trafficking and slavery. That's understandable. You've made money on the nigs since the 17th century. I understand that. You got your asses kicked in the civil war. THEN you got your asses kicked by TRUMP! You are all betas. Just accept it. You don't have control of shit.

pedojoe will extend it's "pardon" to others for "future" charges. That's fucking bullshit. You can't charge a crime if nothing's been shown. So WTF is up with "dr" fauchi?" and others in the pedojoe crime family? The main person that was supposed to be the lead investigator withdrew. and you're still fucking whining? Gimmieabreak.

Donna- The other thing is the lying to FISC (and got caught for giving false information to the court to obtain warrants on US PERSONS in the US with NO credible link to global terrorism), or the steele dossier (and had to admit wrongdoing (meaning they violation the constitution). Getting caught illegally obtaining warrants to wiretap trumpster towers (which an FBI lawyer was disbarred and fired for). These are not "missteps" in a case. They are violations of the constitution and precedence in our court system is built on.

If trumpster (or any other GOP member) was doing the same thing, I would immediately call for their resignation or firing. You "claim" to support the Constitution, yet you support these violations? Like curt, princess, your wife and you are nothing but good little germans. Even though you see the trainloads of starving "human beings" go to a camp outside of town and no one comes back, you'll lie about what's going on because that's what you're told to do.

Again, my point in this thread is that a dem mayor, wants to reach across the aisle and see how this is going to work for the safety of the people in his city. I think that's pretty cool. I'm really hoping that Homan and Adams can reach an agreement for this to happen. And the thread was turned to crap.

The difference between you and me, is that I actually believe in true negotiations. The act of getting some of the things you want, and I get some of the things I want. I know I have to give up some of my perfect picture, as do you in order to get a reasonable outcome. Adams needs to get TdA's foothold out of NYC. Granted, most of them will go to MA, or the Denver metro area, which is fine with me. You don't want to play nice, I have better things to do.

So the meeting happened. Two former cops with a mission to protect the people. They both see the need for something to be done. Specifically for the dirtbags that are creating chaos in NYC. Both are trying to do a job the "city council" is so far opposed to. It sounds like they had a very successful meeting. They're both keeping mum on specifics, which is okay to me. I'm sure Adams needs to talk to the city council and discuss it with them first. Homan is also quiet, which is also good.

I think both of them understand the opportunity of having NYC first in line. These are not going to be small cases. My guess is they'll be OCDTF, and RICO cases. That makes these federal cases with links from group to group. And being able to charge the whole group with the drug dealing and homiecides.

The other interesting thing is that as cities like Boston that don't want the feds in their cities, the dirtbags will move to those cities. Eventually, we'll see them beg for help. Or not. But that's on them.

A couple of things Homan needs to insure. First, that as much as possible, only the dirtbags go down, and the rule of law is absolutely enforced. This is as much a "hearts and minds" mission as it is a snatch and grab. That's where NYPD comes in to help. They can work with those not involved and support them. Making their presence known afterwards is also very important so there's no retribution against the non gangsters.
