They're all great, but I was particularly moved by the woman who shared this:
"Finally. It took me until today to be able to actually go and cast my vote, because I knew it would make me ugly-cry in my car. (chuckles). Today I voted for my friends and family of color; I voted for my lgbttya+ family and friends; I voted for my daughter; I voted for women's rights. And most of all, I voted for joy. Because (starts to cry) every time I see Kamala Harris's face, it brings me joy. We need that joy in our lives. Please go vote. Vote because your life depends on it, because it does."
I think that a lot of Americans are feeling the way she is, which is why Kamala Harris is going to win.

I swear, I can feel a palpable energy in the air. As if I'm sensing a mass psychic outpouring of love for this country, brought about by so many people all coming together, thinking and believing the same thing in mass about the need for Kamala to be president.
It's as if I am feeling America coming to its senses...!
A "Landslide" , I'm
Well, you know.

The Merida video is aimed directly at our two board Trumpers.
by Donna on November 4, 2024 11:39 am
I'm not familiar with the Meridia video. Got a link?
by Donna on November 4, 2024 11:41 am
I mean Merida.
by Curt_Anderson on November 4, 2024 11:47 am The NY Times has interviewed and re-interviewed undecided voters. Today, they published this final story, "These Uncommitted Voters Finally Made Their Choice for President".
These are the sort of indecisive people you don't want to be behind in an ice cream shop. Anyway, in the final analysis:
One guy voted for Trump.
One guy plans to vote for Trump.
Two men and a woman voted for Harris.
One guy plans to vote for Jill Stein
One woman is still not sure how she will vote.
This comment below the article caused my to laugh out loud.
I voted for Harris three weeks ago. Yesterday a Trump supporter knocked on my door. I talked to him for near two hours!
No, I had no intention of changing his mind. All I wanted to do is prevent him from knocking on other people’s door.

Gang,
If you want to have your heartstrings tugged, watch any Trump rally to see testimonials of lifelong Dems telling stories about how they have come to see the light.
Curt watches Fox. I'm sure he's seen dozens of them.
by Indy! on November 4, 2024 12:04 pm
I'm sure if you had any - you would have posted them. Sorry Trumper - you lose again.
Donna - Merida in YOUR video. She's around the middle somewhere.
by Donna on November 4, 2024 1:06 pm
Oh! I didn't know that you were referring to the name of one of the women in the video I posted.
by Ponderer on November 4, 2024 1:22 pm
I couldn't find Merida.

She LOOKS like Merida. Have you ever seen the pixar movie "Brave"?

Gang,
Since Trump rode down the escalator in 015, he's been the catalyst in a radical shake-up of American politics.
Millions will vote GOP... and Dem for the first time in 024.
Many can give heartfelt, emotional testimonies. On both sides. Thank Trump for that.
by Donna on November 4, 2024 1:29 pm
That's the one I thought you were referring to. "Merida" threw me off.

Just glad he's going to be remembered as a one term - failed - "pResident".

Brave is worth a watch. Thinks it's based on some old fairy tale.
Merida is waiting...
by Donna on November 4, 2024 1:43 pm
I can see why you called her Merida.
by Ponderer on November 4, 2024 2:31 pm
I liked Brave, Indy!
by Indy! on November 4, 2024 3:31 pm
It's a fun watch. Not a classic, but also not a paint by numbers story like a lot of the stuff Disney is doing with (or to) Pixar (and Marvel) these days. I have it on blu-ray because it was released in 3D.
