A statement from the Army’s public affairs office said that the Trump campaign had been made aware that federal law prohibits filming for political purposes in that part of the cemetery, and it criticized the campaign for publicly insulting the official in a statement after the fact.

“Participants in the August 26th ceremony and the subsequent Section 60 visit were made aware of federal laws, Army regulations and DoD policies, which clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds,” the statement said.

It continued: “An A.N.C. employee who attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside. Consistent with the decorum expected at A.N.C., this employee acted with professionalism and avoided further disruption.”

“This incident was unfortunate, and it is also unfortunate that the ANC employee and her professionalism has been unfairly attacked. ANC is a national shrine to the honored dead of the Armed Forces, and its dedicated staff will continue to ensure public ceremonies are conducted with the dignity and respect the nation’s fallen deserve,” the statement said.

The Army spokesperson said while the incident was reported to the police department at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, the employee in question “decided not to press charges” so the Army “considers this matter closed.”

But Curt... TIM WALZ HAS TWO DOGS!!!!!! 🤨

    Glad you posted that, Curt.

The adjudicated sexual predator who disrespects our veterans and his pack of thugs create turmoil everywhere they go. I think most Americans have had their fill of that and will vote to move on in November.

Just heard this morning that voter registration among Black women has increased 175% since Kamala became the presumptive nominee on July 21st.

I love your links. Puuuuuuuure Holy Trinity and metaphorical Rachel!

    Bahahahahahahahahahaha.

Clearly, by completly ignoring the valor and sacrifice of our military personnel resulting from "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap's" disastrous leadership, Kammy blew it and Trump won points with voters.

It's time for the woke SwampMedia to let this go.

I find it interesting the language changed from "Campaign Activities" to "Political Activities."

Again, while leading veterans from CO to DC to see THEIR memorials (WWII, KOREAN WAR (and the daily wreath by the ROK government), VIETNAM, the Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy Memorials, along with the Dutch "thank you"(always beautiful in spring) to the US in WWII and remembrance of those who died), and others in the district (Arlington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Grant, Washington (for what's that worth), many times we had one of the members of Congress or the Senate with us. This was a meet and greet to honor the veterans regardless of the political party. No one ever said a word. And they were there at the changing of the Guard.

I don't see any political activities in your example, od, so I am not sure what you were getting at. And, campaign activities are political activities. So?

  8. by Indy! on August 30, 2024 12:43 pm

Funny watching the Rs in 24/7/365 spin cycle desperately trying to cover for all of Trump's miscues.

Because that's what the Cemetary is charging trumpster with was doing a campaign stop on the grounds. He was invited by the group of families whose kids were murdered at the gate in Afghanistan and hoped he would come and honor the fallen and remember the day with them. They said they had it cleared by the bureaucrats at Arlington prior to trumpster getting there. Arlington changed their mind in the middle of it. Cooler heads did not prevail on any side.

Trumpster did take pictures at the grave of one of those murdered. That is a huge issue. Again, the families said they had explained what they were doing and what was going to happen. At first, the cemetery said "it was a campaign stop." then changed it to "political activity." I'm like you. I can't see it.

  10. by Indy! on August 30, 2024 2:35 pm

So the family was not aware there are casualties in war? Or just you? Not really sure why this is supposed to be some special occasion.

It was the first anniversary of these thirteen being murdered by the taliban with the aid and abetting of the pedojoe regime.

Again, the cartoon news isn't doing you any good.

  12. by Indy! on August 31, 2024 10:36 am

So they wanted to help Trump by disrespecting their son for a cheap political stunt - and now it's backfired on them. Got it. Thanks OD. 👍

Because you would (did?) sell mommy for a teener of crack. These people don't do that. You can't understand "suffering in good company, than be living comfortably surrounded by delicate "men."" You've lived comfortable all your life. Never had to give anything up for any others. Never had to put yourself out there for anyone else. That's what makes us different.

These families sincerely hate the pedojoe regime. They look at the goatfuck that it was, and understand that no one making decisions had any care for anyone there. They thought it was a "success." and have said that many times.

Now that it's coming up again, and the folks who put their blood and treasure, their life's savings on the line to get people out of there are talking. The dims are back peddling.

These families called up the ONLY person that called them to talk to the families. It wasn't the "president," God forbid it would be the VP, or the Secretary of State, or even some fucking intern to call the families. It was trumpster that called on them. Made sure everything was in place to receive and bury their dead.

  14. by Indy! on August 31, 2024 2:38 pm

OD, let's make a new rule here to keep things civil. It goes like this...

When the first line of your post is a lie - that's the last line I'm going to read.

  15. by oldedude on August 31, 2024 6:56 pm
You talk about my larger family. I get to talk anything I want about yours. I've told you that, you POS. We'll just start with that. That's the ground rules I laid out. You agreed to them. Suck it up, buttercup.

  16. by Indy! on September 1, 2024 12:43 am
I never talk about your family except to point out how obvious it is your childhood was pure hell. But hey - thanks for saving me the read time. 😘

  17. by oldedude on September 1, 2024 1:01 am
You just can't figure it out, can you.....

  18. by Indy! on September 1, 2024 11:47 am

I figured you out on day 1, OD...

Linear thinker - not an original thought in your life

Lonely - wife probably hates you, kids haven't called in years

No ambition - signed up for the army because it was the easiest way to make a buck doing nothing. You even picked the lowest hanging branch of... ahem... "service"... the army.

Now "retired" from cleaning up parking lots, bitter, watching too much Fox and believing every lie they spew at you.

    See? 100%.

These days you've been filling in the rest of the childhood blanks for me. Very sad.
