Nor has Bernie Sanders or Ilhan Omar. In fact, Bernie is giving Biden his full-throated endorsement.

Host David Doel, who's been calling for Biden to step down, says he understands some of AOC's concerns about replacing Biden, but I honestly don't.

If Biden runs, he loses. Anyone who doesn't get that doesn't understand the signifucance of some of the polling numbers that are coming in. Replacing Biden now, at this late point, is definitely not what anyone prefers, but the way I see it, we have nothing to lose.

See if you can understand AOC's concerns.

    This discussion on the same topic got kinda heated over at TYT. I agree 100% with Cenk Uygur's analysis. IMO he was the only one who was being logical.

    I just saw the first couple of minutes and (wait for it) I actually agree with AOC. There are so many issues this. The ballots are a huge thing. That's why CO (and the other states) made their case so early, for the states to have time to get their ballots done. Again, regardless of how I feel, these are the facts and concerns. I appreciated the video.

    What if Biden dropped dead today? It still would be impossible to replace him at the top of the ticket? The Dems would be forced to run a dead man? (cue the obvious jokes)

    Obviously, there would be a rule change for that. I don't think any state would even grumble about holding the ballot. The issues would be mail in ballots, and military overseas.

    Okay. I finally had a chance to watch the whole video.

    First. All this donor stuff? That's why I HatetheSwamp. Thinking people who care about the Republic have to vote against the Swamp... the uniparty!!!!!

    Second. This paranoia about the courts? It's irrational paranoia. Remember in 020, the courts shot down all of Trump's legal challenges...

    ...but, and I'm surprised that our own former Supreme Court clerk and current Ivy League law school professor hasn't made this point. The GOP has no legal standing to challenge who the Dems nominate as their candidate!!!!! Period. Game, set, match. T'only way I see this going to court is if some Dems try to finagle Joe out of the race...and, Joe challenges in court. If that happens, Joe wins in court...

    ...because of those EFFIN14,000,000 freakin friggin votes... as ole pb continues to point out, that's what really matters.

    The Dem Party chose to blatantly rig the Primary Election so that a "dithering and diminished" Doddering Old Fool would win with 87% of the vote. That's political idiocy.

    In the initial post, Donna says that if Joe runs he loses. The time to have addressed that issue is at the same time Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley and all those others were announcing that they were challenging Trump for the GOP nomination.

    Joe's brain was shot then. He could not have have won. My video of Joe saying, "Let me start off with two words,..." is from that time. Newsom and Whitmer and Pritzker, heck RFKJ, could have run and cream would have come to the top.

    Now,...

    If Joe Biden is not the Dem nominee, it will be to the party's shame.

    "Of the people, by the people and for the people," baby.

    And, I ain't jokin.

    Moderate and independent common sense voters won't like it if Dems use shenanigans to dump Joe.

    AOC is not a progressive. She is not our friend - she is a HUGE part of the problem. For her to be complaining about ANYTHING after she has stood on the sidelines at every opportunity to actually ENACT some of the things she pretends to support in her little girl lost speeches is offensive.

    Same with Bernie. He was onto something - then he sold out.

    I can't see any way that Biden wins the election. I appreciate the warning that AOC is trying to give, even though I don't think there's any other alternative. We have to switch candidates. And while I don't necessarily agree with everything she said, the basic thrust is true -- the more complicated we make the process, the more things can go wrong.

    Harris isn't a great candidate, but she's better than Biden, and time is running short. My guess is if Biden drops out, there will be a consensus among the delegates to move forward with Harris.

    And the politics of it is the black and Hispanic caucus is coalescing around Kamala. They can't ditch her also regardless of the outcome. It will be what I've been saying for years. The dims have been ditching the minorities for a very long time.

    For the GOP, that would be the best thing that could happen. At the very least, the minorities just won't vote. At best, they'll vote for trumpster or a third party yahwhoo no one knows.

    (OD will probably back me up on this observation.) The right has had more fun with Kammy since 020 than it's ever enjoyed Joe's "gaffes."

    My sense is that the progressive media never reports the idiotic things she says and the word salads she tosses to say them. But, we know it all.

    My guess is that the only thing the right prefers over Joe Biden being the Dem candidate is running against Harris. Heck. Joe appointed her border Czar at the beginning of his term and she's done nothing with it.

    The Dems are in a serious pickle. I'm pretty sure that Kamala Harris is not the answer.

    I'm not sure that there is one.

They would once again prove that truck farming was the best thing they did for the blacks, and Texas slavery was the best thing they did for hispanics.

The only thing I saw from the convention was part of JD Loser's speech and a couple other clips on the internet or flipping thru TV channels. I never claimed to have watched it. So again - you're lying, that's why you have no source. Lying is in your nature and that's too bad because you (like all GOPers) are not good at it.
