While the two combatants were not competing head to head, their performances in their respective primaries are telling. Based on my extrapolations when the both primaries has about 90% of the results in, Joe Biden when all the votes are counted, will get about 140,478 more votes than Trump.
Biden will get 54% of the presidential votes cast and Trump gets 46%. RealClearPolling's average had them within a half point of each other, although a recent Franklin & Marshall poll did give Biden a ten point advantage in the Keystone State.
Biden captured 93% of the Democratic Primary votes. Trump got 83% of the GOP Primary votes. The obvious indication is that actual voters are more enthusiastic about Biden than they are Trump.
Given Biden's performance over Trump tonight and historically that Republican voters are more likely to show up for primary elections than Democrats, Pennsylvania in November is looking very good for Biden.
