We hear Hate go on and on about how "Trump is despicable", as if that is somehow supposed to make us think he isn't a died-in-the-wool Trump cult member in good standing. He also goes on and on about how he supports DeSantis and not Trump. Until the primaries are over of course.

So are we to assume that Hate doesn't believe that DeSantis is despicable? Because he has not been timid in displaying the range and scope of his despicable and sociopathic ego for all the world to see. His disgustingly inhuman treatment of asylum seekers and immigrants. His wanton wasting of state tax dollars. His dictatorial seizing of minorities' civil rights. His megalomaniacal hatred of the Constitution. We've seen it and seen it.

But can Hate really not see how DeSantis is every bit as despicable as Trump? Has he really not been paying attention at all???

Let's hear him explain it in his own words.

It has to do with Hate needing to simply explain why he thinks DeSantis is not despicable when he asserts that Trump is. I would think that if Hate truly sees a big enough difference between Trump and DeSantis that he would switch his vote, he should be able to expound on that difference. He has always supported and voted for Trump every chance he got. If he is really not going to vote for Trump in the primary and is going to support DeSantis with his vote, he should be able to explain why DeSantis is so different from Trump. Look, Bill. I know that you latched onto DeSantis like he was a life raft thrown to you while you were drowning in the sea of Trump's crimes. I realize that you knew little of who it was that you were fleeing to so hastily. I get that in your panic, you latched onto the first MAGA Republican that came in second to Trump in the polls. You were in such a flailing panic that you didn't even have time to examine whose horse you'd hitched your wagon to. But you must have had enough time by now to construct what you think are good reasons to vote for him and not Trump, even if they are fictitious. You must have come up with some way by now of convincing yourself that he's better than Trump. Or at least not as "despicable" as Trump is in your estimation. Come on, Bill... Tell us why DeSantis isn't every bit as despicable as Trump is..... Look I'm sorry. I know defending your choices is something you loathe doing. I know you hate having to think about why you make the decisions that you do. But I think this is important. I think it would be a useful and beneficial exercise for you to examine just why you are pretending to support DeSantis, when you know good and god damned well that you are going to vote for Trump in the general.
