From some of his public appearances, Biden seems … uneven. Often cogent, but sometimes alarmingly incoherent. What’s the reason? I have no idea. Do his appearances (including the good ones) inspire strong confidence that the president can go the distance in his current term, to say nothing of the next? No....

Oh, and Kamala Harris. Her supporters might decry the fact, but to an ever-growing number of Americans, the heir apparent seems lighter than air. Her poll numbers at this point in her term are the worst of those of any vice president in recent history, including Mike Pence’s. If she winds up as her party’s default nominee if Biden pulls out late, Democrats will have every reason to panic.

So what’s the president to do? He should announce, much sooner than later, that he will not run for a second term.

Imagine this. Less than 11 months past Inauguration day, the NEW YORK effin TIMES...

...not the WASHINGTON TIMES...

...want the flatulent fool to let the nation know that he's one and done.

Of course, he's a lame duck as soon as he does what the NYT wants.

But, for now the rest of the Dem party is forced to hold up a doddering old fart who thinks he's a former 18 wheeler driver.

It could just be that the Dems won't recover from foisted "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" for more than a decade.

Brett Stevens is the Times' resident Republican. Take his opinion with a grain of salt.

Incidentally, your other post today about the Appeals Court ruling about immigrants was authored by a Trump appointee and co-signed by two Republican judges.

    Yeah. Those un-American GOP judges.

I was just thinking earlier today about my prediction on SS back in 09 that if The ONE succeeds in foisting OCare on a reluctant nation that the GOP will control the courts for a generation.

    You said it.

Trump's violates U.S. statute and the federal government's international obligations to give asylum-seekers a safe place to wait while their applications are processed.

At the beginning of the year I predicted this would be The Year of Four Presidents.

    1. Trump
    2. Biden
    3. Harris
    4. ???

Looks like Biden is hanging in there longer than expected (which is a good thing). It might only be The Term of Four Presidents.
