It seems, in the end, Colbert may be more MAGA than he wants to admit, doing this stunt to promote the purest white bread progressive I've ever seen in a way Colbert had to know would damage the prospects of a BIPOC woman.

In a statement, read by Colbert during his broadcast Tuesday evening, CBS said Colbert "was not prohibited by CBS from broadcasting the interview with Rep. James Talarico. The show was provided legal guidance that the broadcast could trigger the FCC equal-time rule for two other candidates, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett, and presented options for how the equal time for other candidates could be fulfilled."
Talarico, a state representative from Austin, is competing against U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Dallas in the March 3 Democratic primary election, in which early voting started Tuesday. The race will determine who will face the winner of the Republican primary...
