So first you say that right after you said there was no evidence of pritty having the mags. The answer is; no it's not illegal to have the mags. He was shooting a 9mm. No big deal, as that's the biggest seller on the market. Without specific ammo, I'm not a big fan. Depending on the make and model of pistol, the mags can have 9-16 rounds in them. I'm "assuming" that it's a compact which is a lot of the glocks, etc. I'm "assuming" because no one has said) what make/model it is. I'm also "assuming" It's not a "pocket" gun. Those are sub compacts and carry between 7-9? rounds in each mag. My guess is that if it's holstered, it's a compact. If I saw the gun, my guess is that we could say. Either way, it doesn't matter much. The magazines. I'm thinking this guy's a "novice" to someone that has a single gun, and may shoot once a month to once a year. Just a thought. I don't have evidence to support that either way. Lets say he has one full mag (max 16 rounds) and the two mags on his person (48 rounds). When I travel though states with reciprocity, I may carry two extra mags. If I'm carrying within the state, I "may" have one extra mag. And that's just me. The number of mags is not something to argue about. It "could" be that's the number of mags he carries when he is carrying his gun. Which is not out of line with a lot of concealed carry folks. The flip side is that he wanted to kill a bunch of agents. Both are "Possibilities" I'm sure all the sides will have their views on this. I don't know and the guy got dead. He's not telling us, and I'm not going to entertain any argument about it. I AM NOT WILLING TO SAY EITHER WAY UNTIL INFORMATION CONFIRMS EITHER ONE! My guess is that we'll never know.
