Instead, I make donations to local charity to ease my conscience around my ineffectiveness at fighting evil. I honor those who do take risks to help the community and nation. I am lucky because of my ethnicity and circumstances I am unlikely to be targeted as long as I keep my head down, and I can afford small donations to charity. But poverty and risk is not a choice for everyone. People close to me are at higher risk just because of how they look.
