The youngest one can flip languages in mid-sentence, and yells at her brother in Russian. So learning Russian is just another step towards multilingual next generation. Being bilingual doesn't cause a person to use their brain, in a "left hemisphere / right hemisphere" manner, any different than being monolingual does. Also, the hemispheres are NOT also called "lobes". But at least you're getting a little closer to the truth ... probably by accident. Being bilingual DOES cause a person to engage the LOBES of their brain (NOT hemispheres, NOT right-brain / left-brain) in a slightly different manner. It DOES help with executive control and neuroplasticity. So, in your efforts to communicate that "being bilingual does something good for the brain," your overall message was correct, but you are so lost in the specifics that it's uber-cringeworthy.
