Trump's sacrilegious Bible scam. If people don't recognize Trump as a phony now, they never will.

I suspect that conservative hypocrites won't bellyache about this example of government telling the private sector what to do.

The government can insist that businesses have fire extinguishers and unlocked fire exits. Government cannot insist that businesses not have fire extinguishers and unlocked fire exits.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott bans any COVID-19 vaccine mandates — including for private employers
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday issued another executive order cracking down on COVID-19 vaccine mandates — this time banning any entity in Texas, including private businesses, from requiring vaccinations for employees or customers.

Abbott also called on the Legislature to pass a law with the same effect. The Legislature is in its third special legislative session, which ends Oct. 19.

    Right on, Curt.

To Elmer: FYI, I agree with Curt on this. There's a vast difference between being antivax and pro freedom.

I absolutely agree with Curt. Gov. Abbott's action is an abomination. If you own a business and want to require your employees to be vaxxed, you should be free to require it. If your employees don't want to be vaxxed, heck, in the F Joe Biden economy, there's lots of jobs available.

Yeah I think we are all pretty unanimous in calling out this right wing authoritarian insanity.

    Right.

Sometimes fascists and libertarians can agree.
