As far as I can tell, our progressive SS Swampcultists have no idea what's in the BBB beyond propaganda coming from Curt's Holy Trinity, pb's The Rachel, Dem Party talking points.

But, the truth is that many cuts the Dem Swampcult is "sky is falling-ing" are 30 year old Clinton, Democrat Leadership Council, bipartisan, responsible economic policy from the days when Clinton and a GOP Congress actually balanced the US budget...

... back in the day pb was a Dem, and still, happy about it.

Clinton signs ‘Welfare to Work’ bill, Aug. 22, 1996

1996 President Bill Clinton signed the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act. The legislation substantially reconstructed the nation’s welfare system by giving state governments more autonomy over welfare services while also reducing the federal government’s role.

... the act ended welfare as an entitlement program; required recipients to begin working after two years of receiving benefits; placed a lifetime limit of five years on benefits paid by federal funds; sought to encourage two-parent families and to discourage out-of-wedlock births; enhanced enforcement of child support, and required state professional and occupational licenses to be withheld from undocumented immigrants.

In his 1992 presidential campaign, Clinton pledged to reform the welfare system, adding changes such as work requirements for recipients.

Clinton and Gingrich negotiated over reform legislation in private meetings. Previously, Clinton had sought to cut a deal with Sen. Trent Lott, (R-Miss.), the majority whip, but failed to do so. Meantime, Gingrich persuaded the more conservative members of his caucus to support the “welfare to work” approach.

Those were the good old days, and, today's GOP is attempting to bring back functional bipartisan DC government.

So far, the Dems ain't cooperating.

Ummm... Brown Shorts? The left didn't like that part of Clinton's bill. Go change your shorts again, learn some history and get back to us. 🙄

    Indy,

I think you are waaaaaaaaaay wrong. Clinton won the 96 election with 379 electoral college votes. And, he ended his term with 66% job approval, even with the Lewinsky scandal weighing him down.

Address the issue or fuck off, Brown Shorts.

Okay, Indy. If the left is the extreme among Bernie supporters, or people more bonkers than Ben Meiseles, you're right.

The Democrats were not happy about it and it's easy to see why - he kicked a bunch of people off welfare. Even a fucking moron like yourself can understand that.

I'm not sure. Is that supposed to be a joke, Indy?

The point is while the progressive Swampcult is already betting the over/under on the number of House impeachment of Trump starting in January 027, 30 years ago, the politics of the BBB knocked it outa the park.

The only joke in this thread is you, Brown Shorts.
