    As I predicted.

All hell is going break loose now.

It's what MAGA Hat Hate voted for.

  3. by HatetheSwamp on June 21, 2025 5:42 pm

    po,

Ole pb may be the most hawkish libertarian-ish person in the world. It's not what I voted for. It surprises me, obviously.

    But, I wholeheartedly support it.

  4. by Indy! on June 21, 2025 7:33 pm

Great... another war of choice. Just what the country voted for in November. Oh wait... no, even Brown Shorts here is claiming it's not what he voted for this time. As always, when peace breaks out - the MIC has to put an end to it to keep the paychecks rolling in.

  5. by Navy2711 on June 22, 2025 2:38 am

I'm cool with it. Iran can not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.

Any other answer involves us going aaaall the way back to our installation of the Shah. There are a million ways in which the west has brought this about. If we were poised to take the steps to remedy those mistakes, I would say that's the better route. But we're not. We're never going to. We're going to keep propping up rival regimes like Saudi Arabia. We're going to continue to maintain a military influence in the region. We're going to keep supporting the war criminal Israelis. We're going to keep waging economic warfare. We're going to keep creating terrorists, and we're going to insist that Iran remains belligerent to the west ...

So therefore we need to ensure that they don't have nukes. I don't know if bombs are the best way to do that (I don't know if these bombs even did the job) but it needs to be done with force.

    Navy,

Apart from the anti-semitism, I agree.

    donna-As I predicted.

All hell is going break loose now.

So you're taking the Chamberlain route. Appeasement at all costs to Hitler (the real one, not what the left believes). Of course, in retrospect, that's exactly the WRONG move. Your goal is to give up Iran's "Sudetenland" because "that's all he wants?

This is, of course, before people realized that millions would be murdered under Hitler. Put into slavery and starved to death. Jews, Gays, "artists," Catholics, Lutherans, scholars, and many other groups that were considered in a threat to their way of living. Much like you consider Lead and me.

  8. by HatetheSwamp on June 22, 2025 8:58 am

I think Donna, and at least most of our Swampcultists, are hoping that the US gets its butt spanked. But, I can't see that happening based on the news reports I've found about what Israel had already accomplished.

Iran's political and military leadership has been so degraded that, apart from the Ayatollah, not much is left, from what I know. Dozens in the Iraqi leadership is now hooking up with their harem of 72 virgins.

  9. by Curt_Anderson on June 22, 2025 10:46 am
    OD,
I don't see any analogy with Chamberlain or appeasement.

As I said elsewhere there is a danger of non-military, non-official retaliation from Iranians. We can hope not, but I am sure TSA etc. will be on high alert.

  10. by meagain on June 22, 2025 11:49 am
Chamberlain was not an appeaser, actually. He said of the Munich Agreement that it "bought us three months." That was not publicised. Serious historians don't consider him as one.

Britain was worfull unprepared for war, and those extra months were the start of a massive effort to upgrade.

  11. by Navy2711 on June 22, 2025 12:17 pm

    Hate,

"Apart from the anti-semitism, I agree."

It's a non-debatable point that the Israeli's have committed war crimes. The only reason for you to be covering for them is that you want more Palestinians dead. That's on you, but to be clear — are you aware that about 70% of Palestinian casualties are women / children / elderly / incapable of fighting? Doesn't matter to you? A dead Palestinian is a dead palestinian?

  12. by HatetheSwamp on June 22, 2025 12:20 pm

    It is highly debatable.

  13. by Ponderer on June 22, 2025 12:23 pm

It doesn't matter a damn to him, Navy.

  14. by Indy! on June 22, 2025 12:27 pm

So let me see if I have this right... The military folks (and the ones pretending to be military folks) - want to go to war. Did we really even need them to post on that since they're taking any war at any time and any where they can get? 🤔

  15. by HatetheSwamp on June 22, 2025 12:30 pm

    po,

I will acknowledge Israel's WAR CRIME of temporarily shutting off the fresh water on 10/7. And, right, it makes the Holocaust seem like child's play.

    A thousand pardons!

"America First" my ass. We have an "Israel First" foreign policy.

"No new wars" my ass, too.

Netanyahoo has been trying to goad US presidents into attacking Iran for over 20 years. They finally got their chump.

Iran posed no danger to the US...until now.

I fear that after Iran strikes the US in retaliatation, Shitler is going to nuke Iran.

    Then it's all over.

    Hey Hts,

Shitler just said on Truth Social that they're going for regime change.

That makes me 2 for 2.

I think if you read or watched news and opinion sources other than State Regime Media, a.k.a.Fix News and the like, you wouldn't be batting .000 Seriously. Google Jeffry Sachs on YouTube. He isn't affiliated with MSNBC, and he's very educated in foreign affairs.

  19. by Indy! on June 22, 2025 4:30 pm

I guess we're going for regime change because that's worked out so well for us in the past. Interesting to see Iraq's response to all this since we turned them into Iran's ally.

  20. by oldedude on June 22, 2025 6:56 pm
wrongagain- Chamberlain was not an appeaser, actually. He said of the Munich Agreement that it "bought us three months." That was not publicised. Serious historians don't consider him as one.
Cite? because if it's as you say (without citing) there must be papers and scripts on this that should prove your point. I'm all ears.

curt- I don't see any analogy with Chamberlain or appeasement.
I do in what donna said. I thought that was clear.

princess- So let me see if I have this right... The military folks (and the ones pretending to be military folks) - want to go to war. Did we really even need them to post on that since they're taking any war at any time and any where they can get?
Actually, we actually know and understand the costs. And we're not cowards. And we understand foreign policy and what it means for a sworn enemy that has broken every treaty they've been in with the US and has a nuclear program. With the intent of killing everyone in the world that isn't a Muslim.

So for all the posers and cowards, all of a sudden, they (you) are scared shitless. AND I don't like what's happening. And you hate Christians, and all religions (because you have no "god" that isn't you), so you wouldn't understand or care to understand this at all.

As I said elsewhere there is a danger of non-military, non-official retaliation from Iranians. We can hope not, but I am sure TSA etc. will be on high alert.

Unfortunately, the sleeper cells are already in the country and are all ready to operate. The flaw in your "reasoning" is you're thinking these are "non-state, non-official" groups. These cells are directly commanded by Tehran without any doubt in my mind. They may not link to any other cell, but when it all comes together, it will be disaster that exceeds 9/11. This goes with your "all migrants are welcome" theory. Honestly, the flip side is that pedojoe allowed them in. Period. Purposefully and intentionally. And they're not "just" iranians. They're also Syrian, Palestinians, Afghans, Mexicans, and a plethora of others that were radicalized and entered the country. So now we're fucked. We're fighting a war on our own turf, murdering our people.
I've talked about the 12th Imam. This is where most of the Muslims that believe the 12th Imam live. That's how people get in government positions in Iran. In short, these are people that believe the world will be destroyed and everyone dies for their chance to get in to "paradise."

So how is Donna an appeaser? People might have said "all hell is going to break loose" when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, when Confederate troops fired on Fort Sumter or when the first shots were fired at Lexington and Concord.

  22. by Donna on June 22, 2025 7:53 pm

I really don't pay any attention to him, Curt.

  23. by Donna on June 22, 2025 9:25 pm

Twenty nations that are part of the Arab League have already sided with Iran. The Shitler regime has no idea what it has gotten us into.

Former Middle-East Bureau Chief for the New York Times, Chris Hedges, weighs in:

"War opens a Pandora’s box of evils that once unleashed are beyond anyone’s control. The warmongers who ordered the strikes by U.S. bombers on Iranian nuclear sites have no more of a plan for what comes next in Iran than they had in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya or Syria. European allies, whom Israel and Trump have alienated with these air assaults, are in no mood to cooperate with Washington. The Pentagon, even if it wanted to, does not have the hundreds of thousands of troops it would need to attack and occupy Iran -- the only way Iran might be subdued. And the idea that the marginal and discredited Iranian resistance group Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK), which fought alongside Saddam Hussein in the war against Iran and is viewed by most Iranians as composed of traitors, is a viable counter force to the Iranian government is ludicrous.

In all these equations the 90 million people in Iran are ignored just as the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria were ignored. They will not welcome the United States and certainly not Israel as liberators. They may hate the regime, but they will resist. They don’t want to be dominated by foreign powers.

A war with Iran will be interpreted throughout the region as a war against Shiism. Soon there will be retaliation. Lots of it. It will come at first with desultory missile strikes and then attacks carried out by elusive enemies on ships, military bases and installations. Steadily it will grow in volume and lethality. The death toll, including among the some 40,000 soldiers and Marines stationed in the Middle East, will mount. Ships, including aircraft carriers, will be targeted. We will, as we did in Iraq and Afghanistan, begin to lash out with a blind fury, fueling the conflagration we began.

Those who lured us into this war know little about the instrument of war and even less about the cultures or peoples they seek to dominate. Blinded by hubris, believing their own hallucinations, they have learned none of the lessons of the last two decades of warfare in the Middle East. A war with Iran will be a self-defeating and costly quagmire, one more nail in the rotting edifice of the empire."

I wish that no nations had nuclear weapons. The ones that do, have them for defensive reasons. Israel has nuclear weapons for defense, which is understandable. Even if Iran is secretly developing nuclear weapons, don't they have just as much of a right to defend themselves as any other nuclear nation? I'm sure they figure that if they had nukes, they wouldn't be on the verge of a hot war with Israel or the US right now.

This boneheaded attack on Iran by the US is only going to encourage Iran and other Arab countries to pursue the development of nuclear weapons. Intelligent US presidents get that. But we don't have an intelligent president, so now we're on the verge of WW3.

curt- So how is Donna an appeaser? People might have said "all hell is going to break loose" when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, when Confederate troops fired on Fort Sumter or when the first shots were fired at Lexington and Concord.
Donna stated that attacking Iran was the wrong thing to do. As a matter of fact, they've been "innocent" all this time. See below.

donna- Netanyahu has been trying to goad US presidents into attacking Iran for over 20 years. They finally got their chump.

Iran posed no danger to the US...until now.

I fear that after Iran strikes the US in retaliation, Shitler is going to nuke Iran.

My point has been she (and you et al) makes excuses for Iran for years. And princess will forever. Her (and your) claim that Iran isn't a threat, nor is it a country that violates many policies of the UN and many other "treaties" it signed off on, is just plain stupid. And you're following her in a vastly mis-lead evaluation of the country. She did say that all the politicians (in this case) were culpable. And she "assumed" Iran was a "small part" of this question as an afterthought. It was half a liner of the responsibility of the Iranians in this deal. It was the US that was at fault (actually it is trumpster that chose to get into this).

You both have held fast to "if iran is kinda, sorta, complicit in this, then...." when in fact, we know iran has nuclear capability. We know that Iran has the capability of medium range nukes. We know that Iran has said they will launch nukes at Israel in order to destroy the "zionist nation," when in fact they are as culpable as Israel in the murdering of women and children globally. In Iraq, Afghanistan, for sure. And also in murdering (mostly) women, daughters in the name of Allah for wearing western garb, or for refusing female circumcision.

If anyone is acting as Hitler, it's the libtards that support the Islamic revolution and takeover of the global politics. So far, neither you or her have denounced either one of those.

Donna! Is is a thousand Americans who have been killed by Iran sponsored terror?

Yeah sure, except as we've learned on this board when it comes to military stuff - you always seem to be at least 2 steps behind me. You know guns. I understand what's actually happening. There's a HUGE difference. If I were in the military - I would have been a general. You? You're still an uneducated grunt after a lifetime of trying to prove you're an American hero.

So for all the posers and cowards, all of a sudden, they (you) are scared shitless. AND I don't like what's happening. And you hate Christians, and all religions (because you have no "god" that isn't you), so you wouldn't understand or care to understand this at all.

You love to believe others are like you... scared to live life without a gun by your side 24/7/365. Again - as proven MANY times on this board - you are the weakling. The poseur. The beta male. The fake military guy who probably never even served. I have nothing to be afraid of because for one thing - I wasn't dumb enough to sign up for the MIC imaginary war games. You guys go have your little fight. Try not to break anything important or leave the enemy with billions of dollars worth of our tax-bought military equipment like the last TWO "wars".

No government that has been involved in this ongoing Middle-Eastern barbarity is innocent.

cvm eater (since you prefer that name- Honestly, nothing you bleated about was true. You're just LYING your ass off (as always. You still haven't cited shit about what you've said.

I guess we're going for regime change because that's worked out so well for us in the past. Interesting to see Iraq's response to all this since we turned them into Iran's ally.
You don't see much news past your tikcock, do you. If they wanted to kill Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, they would have done it long ago. Israel was going to, but the risk is too high. What is wanted in this case is to take out the government's infrastructure and weaken it in the eyes of its proxies. This is to keep the gulf of Adan open because the Houthis have been rattling their Iranian-supplied anti-ship missiles.

As of yesterday, Iran told the US (and as a default, Qatar and Iraq) they were going to toss some missiles to those bases to protest the bases there. Qatar closed off all air-traffic over the country so our SAMs would have clear shots. None of those were hits, minutes before the stoppage of shooting at each other was started. Israel? Not so lucky. As with all terrorists/ proxies, and supporters Iraq shot up residential areas, and 86 were wounded, 3 dead.

Israel says Iraq broke the deal. Not technically, but it doesn't show a very good faith from the Iranians.

If this works (and it's a crapshoot admittedly), instead of WWIII as foretold, it would be a 12-day war, with Israel taking most of the civilian deaths from Iran. Iranian nuclear facilities and most of their top engineers have been destroyed. Prior to the cease-fire, Israel went in to hit them again, along with bombing roads and bridges leading to the sites.

I know you can't think of anything but hatred towards anyone else, and you're starting to get really boring. Your Pol Pot rhetoric is old.

And OD(that's me) - again has to explain YET AGAIN to the child how the real-world works. CORRECTING YOU IS GETTING TO BE A CONTINUAL THING.
