Embroiled in scores of legal cases, courts now know that Trump administration shouldn't be given an inch.

Trump's obvious contempt of the court(s) were aptly demonstrated by his claim that he cannot retrieve a wrongly deported Maryland man. Yet as recently as yesterday, the Trump administration was deporting and imprisoning men without any due process into the same prison he claims to have no control over.

I suspect that courts will start treating Trump for what he is, a repeat offender and scofflaw. Trump's disrespect for the court order regarding the Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia case is the most recent example. Courts will have to be unambiguous in their directions to the Trump administration. They cannot cut them any slack.

As of April 14, at least 73 court rulings have at least temporarily paused some of Trump's executive orders and other initiatives. Trump has responded angrily, and even called for the impeachment of a federal judge who ruled against his administration on deportation flights, earning a rare public rebuke from Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.

73? Is it a coincidence that is also Trump's IQ?

It's interesting that you want everything to be refused, even if it's legal. Again, 55% of "liberals" want to murder him, et. al. This kind of goes with that.

    OD,
If Trump's executive orders were unquestionably legal and constitutional, the courts wouldn't agree hear the cases, nor would any states' attorneys general get involved.

    Lawfare.

Today Nayib Bukele of El Salvador kicked the lawfare gambit right in the teeth. And, we know that it got Trump and congressional GOP elected.

    Yeeeeeeeeeeeeha!

Where did you get the 55% number, OD?

The poll says 55% believe it would be "somewhat justified" to assassinate Trump which sounds like a push poll multiple choice option - not an actual opinion offered up by a respondent. The poll was only 1264 people which is hardly representative of all Americans (or their interpretation of the "left"). They also come to a ludicrous conclusion as well... "which suggests there a lot of potential assassins out there." No it doesn't. For that you would need a question like "Would you be interested in assassinating so-and-so?" Thinking something is justified has nothing to do with actually being involved in the process.

Looking over the website it's obviously a far right nutjob org...

    Indy,
Like you always say about Democrats, they talk a good game, but they don't deliver. Sure, half of liberals can somewhat justify killing Trump, but none of them are really trying to assassinate the orange-hued authoritarian.

curt- I'm sure you're embarrassed about that number, and the same results come across SS. So I wouldn't "lie about it" so soon. Indy's one of those who would do that. as is po, donna, wrongagain, isle, and one other. The big thing in this is how the left will start the civil war. Mostly because they've never met their enemy (it's a very common mistake). The libtards "Assume" they have the moral clearance to murder all conservatives. Okay. I routinely can place 5 rounds at 1,000 metres at a 4" circle. At 100 metres, I place them 10 rounds within a quarter. I have a 250 metre road privately owned before you arrive at the corner of my land. According to FL law, that is "private land" and by law, I'm allowed to defend it. If they cross my fence, I can shoot. The lack of understanding of what a true modern "civil war" looks like is apparent.

So. This is the third(?or 4th?) assassination attempt to this president. If you like it or not. You're downplaying the whole thing. If you have a manifesto and planning, there's a plan. If it includes others, there's a conspiracy. Yes it is that easy. They've already shot the GOP whip (3rd in congress in power) and almost killed him. They were at the Chief Justice's house and they've charged him with attempted murder. And there are many, many others. So why if you love calling yourself a "liberal," do you associate with these fucks? If you don't believe in changing the government by the barrel of a gun, why do you still ascribe to their hatred. Unless you DO ascribe to their theory, in which you'll protect them at all costs.

It's happening as I expected and hoped it would. Justice may be blind but it's not stupid. The judge's patience is worn thin. The administration's claim that there is nothing they can do to retrieve Garcia only fools young children and the mentally challenged.

Judge launches inquiry into Trump administration’s refusal to seek return of wrongly deported man
GREENBELT, Maryland — A federal judge ordered an “intense” two-week inquiry into the Trump administration’s refusal to seek the return of a man who was wrongly deported from Maryland to a notorious prison in El Salvador.

“To date, what the record shows is that nothing has been done. Nothing,” U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis said at a court hearing Tuesday.

“We’re going to move. There will be no tolerance for gamesmanship or grandstanding,” the judge said. “There are no business hours while we do this. … Cancel vacations, cancel other appointments. I’m usually pretty good about things like that in my court, but not this time. So, I expect all hands on deck.”

See what I get for treating OD nice since I've come back. And please note - this post immediately after my post which clearly indicated I had already found the 55% number and commented on it without OD's "help".

    Then there's this...

Now he's accusing me of assassinating someone when I have always made my point concerning guns crystal clear on this board every time the subject comes up... only pussies can't get thru life without owning a gun. I do not own a gun, I will never own a gun and I will never need a gun. I have two far more powerful things to protect myself - my wits and my self-defense training. I have never even found a use for the latter because I respect others and am not afraid of anyone like some of the people on this board who would shoot someone for simply climbing over their fence. Talk about a FUCKING PUSSY! 😂

Oh, and when it comes to who's trying to assassinate people - remind me again which party it was that took a shot at Trump at one of his rallies. 😌
