Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a man of unquestionable courage. But, he's, perhaps, as poor a diplomat as a world leader in recent centuries... maybe of all time.

Curt's Holy Trinity and po's metaphorical Rachel may not have reported the diplomatic disaster that was Zelenskyy's appearance, during the presidential campaign, here in Pennsylvania, ostensibly in support of the Dingbat... against Trump and Vance. JD brought it up early in the Oval Office scuffle.

Zelenskyy, at this point, is his own worse enemy. No one here has been more supportive of the US participation on behalf of Ukraine than I. Before Russia invaded, I was criticizing "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" for being too weak in standing up to Putin.

I am all about Ukraine but I have been calling Zelenskyy a dictator since almost the beginning. He's canceled elections indefinitely. He has ended freedom of religion and free speech.

And,...

... he, in full-on diplomatic idiocy, openly and actively, supported the losing candidate in the US presidential election.

He's brave but he's his own worst enemy.

The point Zenenskyy, I thought was valid, was there were pieces he felt needed to be in place before the kumbaya moment. trumpster "feels" putin will keep his word.
