An overwhelming 89 percent majority considers Taliban control of Afghanistan a major (55 percent) or minor threat (34 percent) to the U.S. Nearly twice as many Republicans (73 percent) as Democrats (39 percent) call it a major threat...

Bidenís overall job rating stands at 50 percent approve and 49 percent disapprove Ė his worst ratings to date. Last month, it was 53-46 percent, and his best was 56-43 percent in June. Strong disapproval outweighs strong approval by 11 points.

Big picture, twice as many think the troop withdrawal weakens rather than strengthens the U.S. (41 vs. 19 percent), with a sizable 36 percent minority saying it doesnít make a difference...

By a 52-43 percent margin, voters say Biden has failed to keep his commitment to do everything in the countryís power to get all Americans and Afghan partners out of Afghanistan...

If U.S. citizens canít get out of Afghanistan, more will blame the Biden administration than the Taliban by a 48-41 percent margin.

It's all bad for that "feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap."

Voters report larger worries than terrorist attacks. Most are extremely or very concerned about inflation/rising prices (82 percent), the coronavirus pandemic (74 percent), the situation in Afghanistan (73 percent), and unemployment (72 percent). Those are followed by fears about attacks by Islamic terrorists and attacks by non-Islamic terrorists (both 70 percent).

And, anyone who has a working brain could see this coming. The advanced state of Joe's cognitive decline was obvious during the campaign.

What price Trumpaphobia!!!!!?

And two-thirds of Americans believed the lie that Saddam Hussein possessed WMD.

Americans are famous for being easily bamboozled.

    Ah, yes. Your superiority again.

You're just plain better and smarter than most Americans.

Lucky you. You're morally superior to almost all of the rest of us!!!!!

HtS, you keep saying we are smarter and more moral than many, conservatives in particular. I can't find any evidence to refute your claim.

I'm wondering how many of those people would be able to find Afghanistan on a map.

Americans are famous for being easily bamboozled.

    Uh uh.

This is an interpretation. It's a Donna fact...

    ...nothing more.

My sense has always been that po can distinguish between a po fact and a real world fact but that you can. Guess I've been wrong.

    Sorry. "po can't."
