While there are those of us who understand how and why a healthy ecosystem makes life on our planet possible and sustainable, and are acutely aware of how vital a swamp is to that ecosystem, there are also whose who know little about it and care less about the future of life here on earth. They see a swamp as something to be drained and exploited. We are now watching this happen in Washington as the so called leader of our country is, as he says, "draining the swamp" while he pollutes it and fills it with sewage. 


The only real hope we have for our country if we want to keep it a livable place in the future, is to restore our healthy environment by stopping the exploiters and polluters in Washington right now.

The good news is...I think the American people are finally waking up and coming to realize this.

They sequester CO2, protect against flooding downstream of their sources, And are a home for a great number od species of animal life,a number of which are endangered because so much wetland had been paved over in urban sprawl and highways.
