...to make it easier to foist Project 2025 on America.

Question for our woke Swampcultists:

Did voters know Ms Mckneepads was lying about Project 2025, or did they vote for it?

Another one:

Did they know that the Dingbat was lying about Trump passing a national ban on abortion, or do they want one?

Keehee hoohoo haha, ahhhhhhhh!

So now even the Trumpers are admitting the real plan for the MAGAt cult is to implement Project 2025. That confirms at least one board member has no trouble lying his Trumper ass off when it suits him. If you need a clue to solve that mystery - find the nearest mirror.

"So now even the Trumpers are admitting the real plan for the MAGAt cult is to implement Project 2025."

    Bahahahahahahahahahaha haha ha, ahhhhhhhhhhh!

    Oh, these next four years!!!!!

I could not have created this reality in my most bizarre LSD-laced dreams!

You have never tripped in your life.

  4. by meagain on November 18, 2024 10:05 am

    Your "bizarre LSD laced dreams!

A recent study found that the use of psychedelics leads to 20 times the risk of Schizophrenia.

    That explains you.

  5. by Indy! on November 18, 2024 11:14 am

Steve Jobs "tabbed" (pun intended) tripping on acid as one of the most important things he did in his life.

Your "study" will be discredited if that has not happened already. Drugs do not lead to schizophrenia according to the experts. That is a ruse the anti-drug people (like you) use to keep the flailing "war on drugs" alive. There is absolutely no legitimate science to support that notion.

  6. by meagain on November 19, 2024 9:24 am

"The study, which followed over 9.2 million individuals in Ontario, Canada, found that those with a hallucinogen-related emergency department (ED) visit had a 21-fold increased risk of developing schizophrenia compared to the general population.

Even after considering an individual’s co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, the study found a 3.5-fold increased risk of schizophrenia. "

How will the study be discredited? Your saying so?

  7. by Indy! on November 19, 2024 2:10 pm

Legitimate science says so. The actual connection is the reverse - people already predisposed to schizophrenia are also more likely to try narcotics to alleviate the effects of their mental issues and suffering. That is the same conclusion that was reached when they did identical studies on marijuana (which I believe you have also quoted as gospel in the past when those studies have also been discredited).

Me? I have a professional connection to some of the best research minds in the nation when it comes to drug abuse and other issues related to illicit drugs (plus personal experience 😌). I was REQUIRED to read up on these issues as part of my job. So I don't need to google information like you - but if you need some? Here ya go ...

What Is the Relationship Between Schizophrenia and LSD

LSD and schizophrenia have a complicated and poorly understood relationship. Strong hallucinogens like LSD can cause altered reality perceptions, hallucinations, and mental pattern changes. Although there is no direct link between LSD and schizophrenia, there is some evidence that suggests individuals who are predisposed to psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia, may be more susceptible to negative side effects from psychedelic use.

    Research on LSD and Schizophrenia

For example, the dopamine (DA) hypothesis of schizophrenia explains how the disorder’s etiology and treatment are related to a dopamine-related imbalance. According to one study, serotonin might also be important. The following is evidence in favor of serotonin involvement:1

Cortical serotonin receptor binding is altered in those who suffer from schizophrenia.
The disorder is treated with atypical antipsychotics, which are antagonists of serotonin receptors.
By interfering with the serotonin system, classic hallucinogens such as mescaline, psilocybin, and lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) produce symptoms resembling schizophrenia.

How Schizophrenia and LSD Are Linked

    - Psychosis-like states: Hallucinogens such as LSD can cause transient states that mimic psychosis. These conditions could involve disorganized thought patterns, hallucinations, and altered reality perceptions.

People who have a personal predisposition to psychotic disorders or a family history of schizophrenia may be more likely to experience these side effects.

    - Risk of triggering psychotic episodes: There are case reports of people taking LSD and developing psychotic episodes, even though they never had experienced psychosis before. This has sparked worries about the possibility that psychedelics could awaken dormant mental illnesses, particularly in people who are genetically predisposed to them.

    - Individual variability: People react to LSD in very different ways. Others may experience negative reactions, such as anxiety, paranoia, or an aggravation of pre-existing mental health conditions, while others may have positive or neutral experiences.

    - Role of genetics and environment: Although there is a clear genetic component to schizophrenia, environmental factors also play a part. The association between genetic susceptibility and environmental triggers includes the use of drugs such as LSD as one potential trigger, but there are many others.

    - Ongoing research: There is ongoing research on the connection between psychedelics and mental health, including schizophrenia. While some research examines the possible therapeutic applications of psychedelics in regulated environments, other studies look into the dangers of their use, including the possibility of LSD-induced schizophrenia.

    - Legal and ethical considerations: Many jurisdictions prohibit the use of LSD, and there are ethical questions raised by the drug’s possible risks, especially when used by people who have a history of mental health problems.

Thanks for your post on the technicalities. Perhaps you should let your connections know about the more recent survey that adds to their medical explanations and shows a definite linkage.
It answers the question about predisposition, too, and gives a figure for that. Science does not stand still and the new study does not conflict with what you posted. It adds new information to it.

Following nine million people seems to be a credible number to draw conclusions from.

  9. by Indy! on November 19, 2024 3:14 pm

Ahhh... "technicalities" - the refuge of the uninformed. I have to give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't even bother to read YOUR OWN "information" because if you did - you might have stumbled across this part...

"The authors emphasize that their findings DO NOT ESTABLISH A CAUSAL LINK BETWEEN HALLUCINOGEN USE AND SCHIZOPHRENIAand that much more information is needed about risks associated with different types and use patterns of hallucinogens. "

Hey... probably just another "technicality" but one that BLOWS YOUR ARGUMENT OUT OF THE WATER!

  10. by Indy! on November 19, 2024 3:14 pm

    EDIT: 😂

  11. by meagain on November 20, 2024 7:45 am

It does not blow anything out of the water. The findings still stand but like good medical researchers, they say there are still uncertainties as is the case with all Medical science. Unlike the physical sciences, it is not bound by any physical laws that have been discovered yet and there can be many alternatives.

However, statistical evidence is the best measure we have and the study has massive bias to one side.

  12. by Indy! on November 20, 2024 9:43 am

All well and good except for this part...

by meagain on November 19, 2024 2:38 pm

Thanks for your post on the technicalities. Perhaps you should let your connections know about the more recent survey that adds to their medical explanations and shows a definite linkage.

There is NO "definite linkage." BOTH of our sources said the same thing.

  13. by meagain on November 20, 2024 3:24 pm

Perhaps you have a problem with simple numbers.

  14. by Indy! on November 20, 2024 4:17 pm

You beat yourself this time, meagain. I didn't even bother to note that there is a MASSIVE difference between taking surveys to compare numbers looking for correlation and actual medical research looking for causation. Like all of our discussions - you brought a spoon to a knife fight and you lost (again). Next time may I suggest you read your own information before hitting the post button? 🙄
